On the heels of a newly revealed teaser poster, James Franco's casting and an image of Katherine Waterston's gun-totting protagonist, 20th Century Fox has debuted two new stills from the upcoming "Prometheus" sequel, "Alien: Covenant."

The first image, posted by the official "Alien Anthology" Twitter account, spotlights Michael Fassbender sitting in front of a piano. The photo is curious because, as we saw at the end of "Prometheus," his character David is only a severed head by the time "Alien: Covenant" rolls around. So, we're lead to believe this is one of Fassbender's other characters he'll play in the film -- likely, another Android. Take a look below:

The second photo is a behind-the-scenes still boasting director Ridley Scott and Waterston on the set of the film. The shot looks to be taken amidst shooting of a scene that was depicted in an earlier photo. Check it out below (via Empire):

It's been speculated that the cryptic numbers attached to previously released photos could hint at the release of the film's trailer, however, there are no concrete clues to support the theory at this point -- and the new photos don't have any corresponding numbers along with them.

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
