Fans of Marvel's street-level heroes will be excited to learn that "Iron Fist" actress Jessica Henwick has joined the ever-growing cast list of Marvel/Netflix's "Defenders" team-up mini-series. The announcement came via Twitter with a video featuring footage of Henwick's Colleen Wing in action in a one-on-one cage match.

This is the first footage we've seen of Colleen Wing in action, and it's not yet known if it comes from 2017's "Iron Fist" series (where she'll make her debut) or the following "Defenders." Wing's addition to the "Defenders" cast is potentially a big deal; we learned earlier this week that Simone Missick's "Luke Cage" character Misty Knight will also appear in the show. In the comics, Colleen and Misty are crimefighting partners also known as the Daughters of the Dragon. Henwick's addition to the cast means we could see Knight and Wing together onscreen for the first time in "Defenders."

Another trio of actors was added to the cast just yesterday; Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker) and Scott Glenn (Stick). Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth) and Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) will also appear on the show. Earlier this week Netflix confirmed that Simone Missick (Misty Knight) and Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) have joined the cast. And all of this is in addition to the four lead characters of Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones).

Executive produced by Douglas Petrie, Marco Ramirez, Drew Goddard and Jeph Loeb, “Marvel’s Defenders” arrives on Netflix in 2017 and stars Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Finn Jones, Simone Missick, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Rosario Dawson, Rachael Taylor, Scott Glenn, Jessica Henwick and Sigourney Weaver.
