Netflix's The Umbrella Academy Adds Three New Cast Members for Season 2

Netflix's The Umbrella Academy has added three new cast members for its sophomore season.

According to Deadline, the new additions include Ritu Arya (Humans), Yusuf Gatewood (Good Omens) and Marin Ireland (Y: The Last Man).

Arya will portray Lila, a chameleon whose brilliance and clinical insanity varies depending on the situation. She is described as "unpredictable, mischievous and sarcastic," with a twisted sense of humor.

Gatewood will play Raymond, a smart and confident leader with nothing to prove. A married man, he is warm and dedicated and can "disarm you with a look." However, he's also "the kind of guy everyone wants to know."

Finally, Ireland is Sissy, "a fearless, no-nonsense Texas mom who married young for all the wrong reasons. Still in her prime, she’s eager to rediscover what life and love has to offer."

The Umbrella Academy Season 2 has yet to receive a release date. Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher and Justin Min are all expected to reprise their roles, and Steve Blackman will continue to act as showrunner and executive producer, with Sylvain White serving as a new director. Season 1 of The Umbrella Academy is currently available on Netflix.
