A new script page from Season 2 of The Witcher has been revealed by Netflix.The page comes from the Season 2 premiere and features a merchant named Colin Coppercloth and his family being attacked by a mysterious beast as they seek lodging. Geralt of Rivia is narrating throughout the sequence, asking questions of an unknown enemy. "I was meant to end up alone, wasn't I?" he laments. "Where will #TheWitcher take us this season?" the Netflix Queue Twitter account captioned the post. The script page was released as part of the 6 Days of Witchmas, which has revealed new set photos and information about Season 2 of The Witcher over the course of a week.

The Witcher is currently filming Season 2 in the United Kingdom. Filming has run into several delays and hiatuses due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic briefly shuttering production and series lead Henry Cavill suffering a minor injury. However, production is expected to conclude in February 2021. Netflix is also developing Witcher-themed spinoffs, including The Witcher: Blood Origin and the anime film The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.

The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Freya Allan as Ciri and Joey Batey as Jaskier. Season 1 is now available on Netflix.
