Fans have awaited Season 4 of Netflix's Stranger Things since the last season ended in 2019, hoping to find out whether or not the gang reunites and what fate awaits Jim Hopper.

After commenting on the show's larger scale, actor David Harbour recently teased the direction Stranger Things is headed in with Season 4 in an interview with Collider. "We're introducing new stuff, but we're also tightening and wrapping up in a certain direction to make it have a clear, clean specific, and definite ending at some point, which I can't really talk about."

Additionally, Harbour recently teased what audiences can expect from Hopper, who the people of Hawkins believe to be dead, having sacrificed his life to save others down in the secret Russian base where experiments were being conducted on a gateway to the Upside Down. The end of Season 3 revealed that Hopper is still alive, but somehow imprisoned in Kamchatka, Russia.

Filming on Season 4 began in early 2020 but was forced to come to a halt due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Production resumed in September.

Created by the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Priah Ferguson, Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, Maya Thurman-Hawke and Levon Thurman-Hawke. Season 4 has yet to receive a release date.
