Marvel Television and Netflix today announced a new addition to the cast of Daredevil. Jay Ali will join the series for its third season, which will follow-up on the mysterious scene from the end of Defenders that saw Matt Murdock recovering in an unknown hospital.
Ali will join the series as Rahul “Ray” Nadeem, who is described as “an honest, but ambitious FBI agent willing to go to any length for his family.” How Rahul -- or his family -- fit into the Season 3 story is unknown at this point. Ali is best known for his roles in The Fosters, Significant Mother and Grey’s Anatomy.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jay into our stellar cast,” Executive Producer and Marvel Head of Television Jeph Loeb said in a press release. “His storyline and riveting performance will captivate our fans in the third season of Marvel’s Daredevil.”
