After two successful seasons on Netflix, Dreamworks' hit animated series Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts has been officially renewed for a third season.

In Season 2 of Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, the series' teen hero Kipo discovered that she has the ability to transform into a mega jaguar. She uses this power to save some of the last remaining human beings from Scarlemagne, a villainous talking primate. The third season will continue this story as well as show Kipo and her friends going against Dr. Emilia, a character introduced in Season 2 that wants to destroy all mutes on the planet.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts Season 3 is set to hit Netflix on Oct. 12 and will feature the return of the main voice cast, which includes The Boys' Karen Fukuhara as Kipo, School of Rock's Sydney Mikayla as Wolf and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Coy Stewart as Benson.

Based on a webcomic series by Radford Sechrist, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts debuted on Netflix back in Jan. 2020 with Season 2 released in June of the same year. The series has been lauded by many and currently has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 100% among critics for both seasons.

Both seasons of Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts are currently streaming on Netflix, with each season featuring 10 episodes.
