So far, no release date or additional information has been provided for Season 6, but the series should continue on the successful route that has made it a fan-favorite hit for Netflix. Season 5 of BoJack Horseman was released on September 14 and currently boasts a 100 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Although Netflix has produced a number of well-received animated comedies aimed at adults, including Tuca and Bertie, Disenchantment, and Aggretsuko, BoJack Horseman has managed to remain unique. Delivering dramatic twists and skilled writing along with laughs, it centers around a has-been Hollywood actor riddled with issues from alcoholism to self-doubt, and features the varied human and animal personalities who help and hinder him on his path to becoming a better horse.

Created and executive produced by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, BoJack Horseman was designed by Hanawalt and is animated by ShadowMachine. Steven A. Cohen and Noel Bright also serve as executive producers. BoJack Horseman stars Will Arnett as the voice of BoJack, Aaron Paul as the hapless human Todd, and Amy Sedaris as BoJack's agent, a cat named Princess Carolyn.
