Netflix Releases Four Trailers For Horror Series Hemlock Grove

Netflix has a lot riding on Hemlock Grove. Sure, the streaming service hit a critical home run with House of Cards, and people seem to be enjoying the all-at-once model the company is offering with its original programming. But the real question is whether Netflix can repeat that success. While Cards deals with political revenge, Hemlock examines the horrific, possibly werewolf-related, murders in a small town.

Hemlock Grove began life as a 2012 novel by Brian McGreevy, who teamed with Lee Shipman to write the first season's 13 episodes. Eli Roth of Cabin Fever and Hostel fame signed on to executive produce and also direct the first episode. It stars Famke Janssen (X-Men), Bill Skarsgard (Anna Karenina), Landon Liboiron (Terra Nova), Lili Taylor (State of Mind), Dougray Scott (Mission: Impossible II) and Penelope Mitchell (The Joe Manifesto).

Netflix will have all 13 episodes of Hemlock Grove available on April 19.
