Marvel Studios Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige offered fans of Marvel's Netflix characters hope that Daredevil, Jessica Jones and the rest of the Defenders could reappear in future installments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

"Everything is on the board," Feige said on the prospect of the Marvel's Netflix characters returning. "That's one of the fun things about the comics is that characters would appear and disappear and come and go. All of it is inspiration for the future. There are some great characters and actors from those shows."

Feige also recently commented on the possibility of Marvel's Netflix TV shows like Jessica Jones getting revivals. "Well, certainly you’ve seen what we announced at Comic-Con a year and half ago and on Disney Investor Day a few weeks ago, so that’s our focus," Feige said. "But I’ve been at Marvel long enough to never say never about anything."

Prior to being folded into Marvel Studios, Marvel Television launched a branch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Netflix, beginning with Daredevil in 2015 and eventually growing to include Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher. Save for The Defenders, which was a limited series, each show ran for at least two seasons, with Daredevil and Jessica Jones each running for three. Things began to fall apart in October 2018 with the cancellation of Luke Cage and Iron Fist. The others swiftly followed, with Jessica Jones being canceled before Season 3 even released.

The current future of Marvel TV will center on Marvel Studios programs made for the Disney+  streaming service. WandaVision kicks off this new age of Marvel Studios, while other programs set to premiere on the service in the next year include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and Ms. Marvel.
