Fans of Netflix's animated series BoJack Horseman got an early holiday surprise Friday, as the video-streaming service released a Christmas-themed episode of the series.

The twisted comedy is set in a Hollywood where anthropomorphic animals exist alongside humans, and is centered around the titular horseman (voiced by Will Arnett) -- a washed-up actor from the '90s sitcom Horsin' Around.

BoJack Horseman also features the voices of Aaron Paul, Amy Sedaris, Paul F. Tompkins and Alison Brie. It was created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Lisa Hanawalt (My Dumb Dirty Eyes) is the show's production designer.

BoJack Horseman's second season will likely be released in 2015.
