Nimue is a teenage heroine destined to become the legendary Lady of the Lake. Comics legend Frank Miller, who is known for works such as Sin City and The Dark Knight Returns, will illustrate the novel.

Langford also starred in Netflix's 13 Reasons Why as well as the film, Love, Simon. She originally had a role in Avengers: Endgame, though it was cut.
