Fans of Bryan Fuller's Hannibal are in luck as the new arrival of all three seasons on Netflix brought about a major change to how the artistic show looks. While the subject matter of the psychological horror is just as dark as ever, according to "Fannibals," all 39 episodes are a little less gloomy thanks to some added lighting. With the increased brightness, the show is now easier to view — literally.RELATED: Hannibal: How the TV Show Compares to the MoviesCinemaBlend noted the change and shared the joy of viewers old and new. It's important to note the change appears to be unique to Netflix. Original network NBC and initial streamer Amazon aired the darker versions of the episodes.

Based on Thomas Harris' book saga and the iconic Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Fuller's show largely shied away from the Anthony Hopkins-led movies and instead focused on the relationship between Lecter and Will Graham. Edward Norton played Graham alongside Hopkins' Lecter for Red Dragon in 2002, but for Hannibal, Fuller cast Hugh Dancy as the criminal profiler and Mads Mikkelsen as the cannibalistic psychiatrist. Hannibal bowed out in 2015 with a cliffhanger ending that has left fans hungry for more ever since.

While Hannibal amassed a loyal fanbase during its time and Fuller had planned a six-season arc that would've eventually introduced fan-favorite Clarice Starling into the fold, the show continuously struggled in the ratings. Ironically, Netflix was one of the first to show interest in reviving Hannibal for Season 4. However, the studio wanted an immediate episode order for the platform while Fuller wanted to take his time refining scripts.
