Netflix Brings 'Wet Hot American Summer' Back for 'First Day of Camp'

Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp that confirms the return of the entire cast from the 2001 cult comedy.

Set to reprise their roles in the eight-episode miniseries are Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon and Michael Showalter. David Wain and Showalter, who wrote the original movie, will script the series with Wain directing.

According to Deadline, they'll be joined by Chris Pine, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig and Jason Schwartzman in guest or recurring roles.

Where the original film took place on the last day of camp, First Day of Camp will take place on the first day of Camp Firewood's famous summer season in 1981, just like the title suggests.
