The fourth season of Black Mirror just got a trailer that teases the dark, depressing, allegorical delights that await fans when the Netflix series returns for another six-episode run. The trailer also comes with a release date for the season, which will hit the streaming service on Dec. 29, 2017. So, just in time to ring in 2018.

There’s a quite a bit that’s already been revealed about Season 4 of Black Mirror, with trailers teasing each individual episode. “Crocodile” will toy with the idea of memories and how hard it can be to replicate them. “Hang the DJ” immerses itself in the real-life horror that is online dating. “Arkangel” is the Jodie Foster-directed episode that asks some pretty darn good questions about parenting -- like, “should I stick a needle in my kid’s temple so that I can control them?” Probably not!

“USS Callister” is the previously teased Star Trek-inspired episode that sees Cristin Milioti trying to adjust to her new life aboard a spaceship. “Black Museum” creates a curated collection of objects that have done very bad things, and will likely touch on the horrors they committed before being shelved. “Metalhead” is a black-and-white episode all about being hunted by robot dogs, a la Boston Dynamic's Big Dog.

Created by Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror’s fourth season will be available on Netflix on Dec. 29, 2017.
