You’re going to get to see some things that only the people who go to Comic-Con get to see,” he teased. He then led the crowd in a chant of “Iron Fist 2.” As he challenged the audience to a fight, Henwick entered the stage and demanded he remove his outfit, which he obliged. He thanked the showrunner and a multitude of the crew behind the show, then introduced a clip.

The clip was revealed to be an Iron Fist teaser, which announced a release date of September 7.

Based on an previously released motion poster, we're led to believe the villain of Season 2 will be the Steel Serpent, who recurred throughout the first season of the series — although he wasn’t a villain yet. Davos appeared as Danny’s friend from K’un-Lun, only to end the season by declaring that they were now enemies. The last we saw of him, Davos was embracing the Steel Serpent identity, and getting ready to work with Joy Meachum.

Now, the Steel Serpent is set to become the Living Weapon’s deadliest enemy yet.

Iron Fist Season 2 stars Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, Tom Pelphrey, Jessica Stroup, Sacha Dawan, Simone Missick and Rosario Dawson. The series is set to drop September 7.
