Netflix will release a massive slate of films over the summer, including America: The Motion Picture.

The R-rated animated film will take an irreverent approach to the founding of the country and features a voice cast that includes Channing Tatum as George Washington and Simon Pegg as King James. Matt Thompson (Archer) directs the film from a script by Dave Callaham (Mortal KombatShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings). Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who are co-writing the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel with Callaham, serve as executive producers.

Other genre films shown in the sneak preview include the Jason Momoa-led action thriller Sweet Girl and Zack Snyder's zombie heist film Army of the Dead. Rounding out the list of upcoming movies is the Fear Street trilogy -- based on the novels of the same name by Goosebumps author R.L. Stine -- and Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans.

In this wildly tongue-in-cheek animated revisionist history, a chainsaw-wielding George Washington assembles a team of rabble rousers — including beer-loving bro Sam Adams, famed scientist Thomas Edison, acclaimed horseman Paul Revere, and a very pissed off Geronimo — to defeat Benedict Arnold and King James in the American Revolution. Who will win? No one knows, but you can be sure of one thing: these are not your father's Founding… uh, Fathers.

Directed by Matt Thompson, America: The Motion Picture stars Channing Tatum, Jason Mantzoukas, Olivia Munn, Bobby Moynihan, Judy Greer, Will Forte, Raoul Max Trujillo and Killer Mike, with Simon Pegg and Andy Samberg. The film arrives on Netflix June 30.
