In anticipation for the premiere, AMC has released a new piece of Season 7 key art that makes one thing abundantly clear: Negan's reign of terror has only just begun.

The text and the motion blur on Lucille strongly suggests that whoever gets a clubbing in the season opener won't be alone. Whether this will result in the death of more than one long-standing cast member is open for speculation, but regardless, it's pretty clear that Negan will be stamping his authority all over the upcoming season.
Season 7 of "The Walking Dead" premieres Sunday, October 23, on AMC.
