With The Walking Dead returning for its 10th season on AMC in less than a month, the network has released stylized character posters of all the major players for the upcoming season.
Featured in the same red and gold style as the Season 10 key art released last month, the posters highlight Alpha, Michonne, Daryl, Carol, Negan, Beta and Judith, all preparing for this season's Whisperer War.
Season 9 had featured the arrival of the Whisperers, a violent faction of survivors that disguise themselves among walkers by wearing the skin of the dead and remaining silent, earning them their ominous nickname. By the end of the season, they had imposed strict borders on the other survivor communities after inflicting bloody losses on the communities of Hilltop and Alexandria.
Spending most of Season 9 imprisoned, Negan had emerged to rescue Judith Grimes in the season finale, earning him Michonne's begrudging respect and the possibility of redemption for the one-time leader of the Saviors.
AMC's The Walking Dead stars Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nadia Hilker, Dan Fogler, Angel Theory, Lauren Ridloff and Eleanor Matsuura. The series returns for Season 10 on Oct. 6.
