One of best things about the Marvel Cinematic Universe is its ability to take full advantage of the shared universe in putting together interesting teams. That's likely to continue after the events of Avengers: Endgame, and Karen Gillan -- who plays Nebula in the MCU -- knows who she would want her character to team up with.

Asked by the Toronto Sun about who she'd like to interact with in a solo movie centered on Nebula, Gillan responded, "I think she could be good with the Hulk — when he’s angry. They could be two angry people together. I’d like to see that. I think she’d be good with Captain Marvel action as well. I think Nebula would have an unspoken respect for Captain Marvel."

Depending on the shape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the events of the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, Nebula may very well get the opportunity to fight alongside both the Hulk and Captain Marvel. However, the prospect of Nebula starring in a solo film is still a vague idea. James Gunn, who directed both Guardians of the Galaxy films has expressed a desire to give Nebula her own film, but so far, that is the extent of the film's development. We'll have to wait and see what Phase Four of the MCU has in store for her, assuming she survives the upcoming film.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
