That Time Neal Adams Wrote and Directed a Film Starring Comic Artists

Adams could not afford to PAY any of the actors, so they all worked for a cut of the film's profits.

Some of the familiar names involved were Denys Cowan, Gray Morrow, Larry Hama, Jack Sparling, plus comic book editor David Mannick, National Lampoon's Ralph Reese and former DC romance comic artist Jay Scott Pike

Pike is the one with the throwing star through his forehead.

It was eventually purchased by Troma, and released as Death to the Pee Wee Squad, with a Neal Adams drawn cover...

I've never seen the film. Has anyone else out there seen it?
