NBC's 'Blindspot' Earns Back-Nine Script Order

Demonstrating its faith in "Blindspot," NBC has ordered an additional nine scripts for the freshman drama.

As The Hollywood Reporter notes, the network has reason to be optimistic, as premiered Sept. 21 to 3.1 rating in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic, and 10.6 million viewers total. When three days of delayed viewing were factored in, those numbers grew to 4.5 in the demo and 15.2 million viewers.

Airing Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, "Blindspot" stars Jaimie Alexander as the amnesiac “Jane Doe,” who’s discovered naked in Times Square, her body covered in intricate tattoos — one of which is the name of FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton). She and the FBI quickly realize each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity.
