NBC Signs On For Jamie Foxx's Hitgirl Drama

Looks like Jaime Foxx can add "television show creator" to his already varied resume, as NBC has picked up a pilot for Tommy's Little Girl, based upon a trailer created and shot by the Oscar and Grammy winning actor and musician.

Deadline reports that Tommy's Little Girl - which it describes as "Le Femme Nikita meets The Sopranos" - centers around a woman raised by a mafia family who lives a double life as an attorney by day and assassin by night. The pilot will be written by Law & Order and Homicide: Life On The Streets vet Jorge Zamacona, and the actors Foxx recruited for his trailer - Selma Blair, Paul Sorvino, Tony Sirico and James Russo - will make it into the finished trailer. No news yet about directors.
