NBC Renews Parks & Rec

Breathe easy, Pawnee: NBC has renewed Parks and Recreation for a fifth season. And Deadline reports that, unlike fellow Thursday comedies 30 Rock and Community, it's been given a full 22-episode order.

The network also picked up freshman sitcoms Up All Night, which stars Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph, and Whitney, featuring Whitney Cummings, for another season.

Last night's season finale of Parks and Recreation, which saw Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) win the election for city council, drew 3.46 million viewers. The series also stars Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari and Nick Offerman.
