NBC is looking to bring back Junior Healy.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has greenlit a script for a half-hour comedy based on the 1990 comedy Problem Child. The film featured a pint-sized terror who idolized a serial killer and menaced authority figures, including his father John Ritter and principal Gilbert Gottfried. The movie proved popular enough to be succeeded by two film sequels and a two-season animated series.

This new version will put the original's premise in the hands of Old School and Hangover II writer Scot Armstrong as well as producers Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan, who were responsible for ABC's Manhattan Love Story.
