Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk Debut First 'Con Man' Teaser

No sooner did "Firefly" veterans Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk launch a crowdfunding campaign for the new webseries "Con Man" than their devoted fans kicked in $1.5 million, more than three times the initial goal. And that's with 29 days left!

As a thank you, the duo has released the first teaser for the comedy, which stars Tudyk as Wray Nerely, the former lead in a prematurely canceled sci-fi series who now makes the rounds at pop-culture conventions and comic stores. Fillion plays his best friend and former co-star Jack Moore, who’s “Matt Damon famous” following the show's untimely demise.

In the teaser, Wray seeks a few moments of privacy in an airport restroom, only to be recognized by one of "Spectrum's" fans, who asks that he sign a magazine with his friend Jack on the cover.

They're already generated enough pledges for 10 episodes of "Con Man," and they're closing in on an 11th.
