Narwain’s “Jenna” enrolls in “Ninja High School”

Official Press Release

What happens when the girl from the dark side of the tracks enrolls in a school full of ninjas? Comic fans will find out this February when Narwain publishes the first in a series of crossovers spinning out of synergistic partnerships with a variety of publishers.

Narwain’s flagship character “Jenna”, the horror heroine created by Philip Osbourne and drawn by Jim Fern, will be the first to cross swords with another publisher’s characters. She’ll be traveling to Antarctic Press’ “Ninja High School”, the comic created by Ben Dunn in the mid-1980s, for a three-issue miniseries.

The book is written by Osbourne and Dunn with artwork by Dunn himself. Former CrossGen artist Vincenzo Cucca, well known for his work on “Meridian”, is providing the covers for the book.

Jenna is a character whose home life seems like an episode of “Desperate Housewives” that took a strange, supernatural turn into the world of “The Omen.” She, along with Dunn’s fans, will be enjoying the reunion of Asrial, Ichi-kun and Jeremy Feeple from “Ninja High School”. This book promises to be a truly unusual mix of horror elements of “Jenna” with the manga-style of “Ninja High School”.

This is just the first of many crossover projects from Narwain. We’ll be introducing similar ventures with several characters from Moonstone and other important publishers.

Narwain reminds fans anticipating “Jenna” that the book makes its US debut on November 10. The follow up issue will include a special edition release with a CD by Iron Maiden frontman Paul Dianno.

More information will be posted on the Narwain website in the days ahead at
