The Ten-Tails is known to be the strongest of all the Tailed Beasts in the Naruto series. Originally, it came into existence after Kaguya Otsutsuki decided to merge with the God Tree in order to reclaim her chakra from those living on Earth.
The Ten-Tails was brought back toward the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War, and its powers were tremendous enough to destroy the entire shinobi world. Only a small handful of characters in Naruto are strong enough to hold their own against this beast, and even fewer can be considered stronger than it.
8 Obito Uchiha Became The First Ten-Tails Jinchuriki In The War
The Fourth Great Ninja War's climax saw Obito Uchiha seal the Ten-Tails inside himself and become its Jinchuriki. As expected, his power shot through the roof, and even the God of Shinobi, Hashirama Senju, couldn't help but admit that he was far inferior to Obito. Obito's powers were great enough to take the entire shinobi world on by himself. Being the Jinchuriki of the beast, Obito gained full access to its abilities and could control its powers better than it could on its own, therefore making him stronger than the beast.
7 Might Guy Could Take On Madara Uchiha In Battle
Might Guy was among the strongest characters to take part in the Fourth Great Ninja War, and although his skills with ninjutsu and genjutsu were limited, his taijutsu was completely unmatched. After opening the Eight Inner Gates, Guy could even take on Madara Uchiha, who was far stronger than the Ten-Tails, in battle. Furthermore, his strongest attack, called Night Guy, almost killed Madara, which just goes to show that Guy would do more than just impress against the Ten-Tails. Undoubtedly, he is at least as strong as the mighty Ten-Tailed beast itself.
6 Hamura Otsutsuki Had The Power Of The Tenseigan
The younger brother of Hagoromo, Hamura Otsutsuki was quite a powerful character himself, although it was never exactly revealed how strong he was compared to his brother.
Hamura was able to fight against Kaguya Otsutsuki for quite a long time, and he played a part in sealing her away as well. He even had the powers of the Tenseigan up his sleeve, which made him stronger than most characters in the story. Having fought the Ten-Tails, it's quite easy to see that he was on its level.
5 Madara Uchiha Is A Legendary Figure From The Old Era
Madara was known to be one of the very few shinobi who could rival the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju. Although he was never able to defeat him, Madara aimed to gain even greater power and successfully managed to do so by attaining the powers of the Rinnegan. Eventually, he became the perfect Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, and his powers overshadowed that of nearly every other character in the story. Madara's powers were incredible enough to take on both Naruto and Sasuke at once during the war, but the duo got even stronger once the war concluded.
4 Sasuke Uchiha Is Naruto's Equal By Adulthood
Sasuke Uchiha is quite a menacing shinobi who is known to be as strong as Naruto, the Seventh Hokage of Konohagakure himself. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, he received half of Hagoromo's powers and was able to fight against the likes of Madara Uchiha in his Ten-Tails Jinchuriki form. After the war, Sasuke got even stronger and could hold his own against Momoshiki Otsutsuki while being strong enough to overwhelm Kinshiki Otsutsuki in combat. Although the Ten-Tails is strong, it certainly wouldn't stand a chance against Sasuke.
3 Naruto Uzumaki Is The Strongest Shinobi Alive
The Seventh Hokage of Konohagakure, Naruto Uzumaki is the strongest ninja in the world during the Boruto era. With the power of the Six Paths Senjutsu and the chakra of all the Tailed Beasts, he became strong enough to take on the likes of Kaguya Otsutsuki in battle.
During the blank period after the war, Naruto grew even stronger, and in Boruto, he could hold his own against Momoshiki Otsutsuki despite having lost half of his chakra. Although the Ten-Tails is quite powerful, Naruto wouldn't have any trouble matching it in terms of power.
2 Hagoromo Otsutsuki Was Revered As A God
Also known as the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo Otsutsuki was Hamura's elder brother. He was born with the power of the Rinnegan, which he inherited from his mother. Hagoromo fought the Ten-Tails with Hamura's help and managed to seal it as well. In addition, Hagoromo grew even stronger after the battle as he became the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails. He spent the rest of his life spreading Ninshu and eventually split the chakra of the Ten-Tails into nine parts and created the Tailed Beasts. His powers are quite easily greater than those of the Ten-Tails itself.
1 Kaguya Otsutsuki Is The Progenitor Of Chakra
Kaguya Otsutsuki is quite easily among the strongest Naruto characters of all time, being the one who gave birth to chakra on earth. As an Otsutsuki, Kaguya was already a monstrous fighter but she grew even stronger after eating the Chakra Fruit of the God Tree. She was so powerful that it took Hagoromo and Hamura months to seal her away, and during her fight against Naruto and Sasuke, she was able to overwhelm them both with relative ease. Furthermore, she held the power of Kekkei Mora techniques and could easily destroy stars with them. Kaguya is one of the very few characters whose strength overshadows the Ten-Tails.
