Naruto Uzumaki is one of the most well-known characters in the world. He is the current Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. Naruto's reputation increased a lot after he helped the Shinobi Alliance to win the Fourth Great Ninja War.
It is a known fact that Naruto went from being known as a "failure" to a hero of the ninja world. There is absolutely no one else who can stand on the same pedestal as him. The only one that comes close is Sasuke. Throughout the entire series, Naruto has proven on multiple occasions that he is the strongest ninja in the world.
10 He Destroyed Madara's Meteors During The Fourth Great Ninja War
When Madara became the jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails, he gained a tremendous amount of chakra and power. He was dubbed the "Second Six Paths" because of his incredible abilities. Madara decided to test out his powers and brought down several meteors from the sky.
The Shinobi Alliance was once again in trouble, but Naruto was there to rescue them. With the new powers granted to him by the Sage of Six Paths, Naruto created several Rasenshuriken, which easily destroyed the meteors.
9 He Finally Got Through To Sasuke After Their Final Battle
After the Fourth Great Ninja War ended, Naruto and Sasuke fought one last time at the Valley of End. Sasuke headed into the fight with the intention of defeating Naruto once and for all. On the other hand, Naruto only wanted to stop Sasuke and return him to his senses.
The fight was really close due to the fact that Naruto was holding back. Sasuke also stole the chakra of the tailed beasts in order to create Indra's Arrow. Despite Naruto not going all-out, Sasuke didn't manage to defeat him. After they had blasted off each other's arms, Sasuke finally admitted that Naruto had managed to defeat him.
8 He Beat The Six Paths Of Pain
The Pain Invasion arc is easily the best one in Naruto. As the name suggests, the arc is focused on Pain's invasion of the Hidden Leaf. He came to collect the Nine-Tails that was inside Naruto, which would allow him to achieve the Akatsuki's goal.
The fight between Naruto and the Six Paths of Pain was incredible. The momentum shifted from one side to another, and the Tendo Pain actually came very close to beating Naruto. However, Naruto wasn't ready to give up and with Minato's help, he managed to defeat the Tendo Pain.
7 He Sealed Kaguya To End The War
Kaguya Otsutsuki was the final villain in the series. She was revived by Black Zetsu, who betrayed Madara Uchiha. She was much more powerful than Madara as she easily managed to overwhelm the entire Team Seven. She could make the Susanoo disappear by just touching it.
Once again, Naruto played an important role in the fight. Naruto managed to distract Kaguya with his Reverse Harem technique and land a hit on her. Naruto and his team saved the world by sealing away Kaguya.
6 He Managed To Control The Strongest Tailed Beast
Before his death, the Sage of Six Paths used the Creation of All Things to create the nine tailed beasts. The strongest of these tailed beasts is the Nine-Tails, who is capable of taking on several other tailed beasts at once.
Naturally, it wasn't an easy task to control such a powerful tailed beast. It wasn't until the beginning of the Fourth Great Ninja War that Naruto managed to overcome his inner hatred and gain control over Nine-Tails. With the power of the Nine-Tails unlocked, Naruto got a big boost.
5 He Brought Peace To The Ninja World
The Fourth Great Ninja War was the most destructive war that the ninja world has ever seen. Countless ninja lost their lives in the war, and it could have gotten worse if Naruto and his allies weren't so strong.
Naruto shared Jiraiya's dream of achieving world peace. Once the war was over, Naruto managed to accomplish that dream. All ninja villages are on friendly terms with each other, and it is only due to Naruto's efforts that world peace became a reality.
4 He Almost Destroyed The Moon With A Single Punch
In Naruto: The Last, Hinata was kidnapped by Toneri Otsutsuki, a member of the Otsutsuki Clan. Toneri had misinterpreted Hamura's commands, it was due to this reason that he wanted to destroy the earth. In order to destroy the Earth, Toneri required the power of the Tenseigan.
Naruto fought against Toneri on the moon. Toneri used the Tenseigan Chakra Mode in the attempt to get better of Naruto, but the latter was just too powerful. With just a single punch, Naruto almost shattered the entire moon, and surprisingly, he wasn't even using the Six Paths Sage Mode.
3 He Got The Better Of Momoshiki In A Fistfight
Already in Boruto, a lot of Otsutsuki have made their appearance. Momoshiki was among the first to appear in the series. He visited the Earth to take away the chakra fruit that Kaguya was harvesting.
In his base form, Momoshiki was easily stronger than any Kage, so after absorbing Kinshiki, his power level increased drastically. However, when Naruto used his Six Paths Sage Mode, he was able to overwhelm Momoshiki in a fistfight.
2 He Made Shin Uchiha Give Up Without Fighting
Shin Uchiha was one of Orochimaru's test subjects who was heavily inspired by Itachi Uchiha. Before leaving Orochimaru's hideout, he took his clones with him.
Shin Uchiha's plan of reviving the Akatsuki to disrupt the peace of the world was a big worry for everyone. A handful of ninja from the Hidden Leaf fought Shin Uchiha and his clones. One of Shin Uchiha's clones who was about to attack was stopped by Naruto. Naruto scared the clone with his mere presence, and that's a big feat considering that every clone had the Mangekyo Sharingan.
1 He Managed To Beat Isshiki Otsutsuki
Isshiki Otsutsuki is easily the strongest character that Naruto has faced so far. He was easily able to fight Naruto and Sasuke. Isshiki Otsutsuki completely overwhelmed the two ninja, and for the most part, he was toying with them.
Again, it was Naruto who stepped up and used a brand new ability, Baryon Mode, to kill Isshiki Otsutsuki. The ability is a double-edged sword as Naruto was in danger of getting himself killed as well, but Naruto pulled through and managed to kill Isshiki.
