Although they're not as powerful and renowned as some of the others on this list, their eyes are special in their own ways and worthy of making the list. As such, we've added more Mangekyo Sharingan users with abilities that are beyond the comprehension of an average shinobi.
14 Itachi's Crow
Itachi Uchiha's personal crow summoning had the power to use the Mangekyo Sharingan as well and he wielded the eye of Shisui Uchiha after his death.
Although his power was limited as a summoning, Itachi's Crow could still use the power of Kotoamatsukami, a powerful Genjutsu strong enough to trap anyone in an illusion and manipulating their actions without them even realizing what has transpired. Itachi used this crow to break free of Kabuto's control during the Ninja War.
13 Black Zetsu
After having taken over the body of Obito Uchiha during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Black Zetsu had access to the Mangekyo Sharingan as well, although for just a limited time.
This eye allowed him to use a powerful space-time ninjutsu, known as Kamui, over a short distance. Zetsu successfully managed to gain access to the Kamui dimension and also had the ability to warp others around him to the new space-time.
12 Fugaku Uchiha
Sasuke's father, Fugaku Uchiha, was the last known leader of the Uchiha clan in Naruto. He possessed the power of the Sharingan, and in the Itachi novel and Naruto Shippuden anime, he was shown to be a user of the Mangekyo Sharingan as well.
The true power of his Mangekyo Sharingan was never revealed to us, although what we do know is that the eye was strong enough to control the Nine-Tails had he willed it. Furthermore, Itachi was unsure whether he'd be able to defeat his father in combat, meaning he was quite a powerful user of this eye.
11 Izuna Uchiha
Izuna Uchiha was one of Madara's four brothers, and a valiant shinobi. Along with his elder brother, he was the first person to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan in the Uchiha clan. The exact abilities of his Mangekyo Sharingan aren't known, but they made him strong enough to lead the clan along with Madara. At a very young age, he beat countless Senju shinobi, but he met his end after receiving a fatal wound from Tobirama's sword. Izuna's Mangekyo abilities were never revealed, but they were likely just as impressive as he was.
10 Danzo Shimura
Danzo was one of Konoha's strongest ninjas, and was tasked with handling the village's dirty business from behind the scenes. In an attempt to gain power to ensure the safety of the village, Danzo stole countless Sharingan, including Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan. Using this eye, he could cast the all-powerful genjutsu called Kotoamtsukami which allowed him to manipulate anyone without them even realizing what was going down. Coupled with multiple other Sharingan which gave him the ability to spam Izanagi, and Hashirama's cells, Danzo was truly a menace.
9 Shin Uchiha
Shin Uchiha was a synthetic human created by Orochimaru. After gaining information on the Uchiha clan, specifically Itachi, he set out to kill Sasuke Uchiha and restore the clan. Shin had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan through some unknown means, but the fact that he had it means he experienced emotional trauma. His Mangekyo Sharingan allowed him to mark weapons and manipulate them through telekinesis. Thanks to a body made of Hashirama's cells, he avoided the side-effects of the Mangekyo Sharingan. He was able to fight against Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki to some extent, which shows how strong he truly was.
8 Shisui Uchiha
Shisui, better known as Shisui the teleporter, was famed for his excellent skills as a Konoha jonin. He awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan at some point during the third great ninja war, and through it, he gained the ability to cast a powerful genjutsu known as the Kotoamtsukami.
Shisui's visual prowess allowed him to cast a genjutsu so strong that he could manipulate people without them realizing what had happened. He could also manifest the Susano'o, although to what extent he could take its powers is unknown. Either way, he was a shinobi only few could defeat in the entire Naruto world.
7 Itachi Uchiha
Itachi was the son of Fugaku Uchiha and the elder brother of Sasuke. A pacifist since childhood, Itachi never wanted bloodshed and sought power to become the Hokage and create peace. Unfortunately, he didn't get to accomplish any of that. After witnessing Shisui commit suicide, Itachi's Sharingan evolved into a Mangekyo Sharingan. His abilities were incredibly diverse. In his left eye, Itachi had the Amaterasu which gave him the ability to incinerate everything. Meanwhile, his right eye possessed the Tsukuyomi, which was a powerful genjutsu that could manipulate space and time. Thanks to his Mangekyo Sharingan, Itachi was nearly invincible.
6 Indra Otsutsuki
The first son of Hagoromo, Indra Otsutsuki, was a prodigy who excelled at everything. He inherited his father's strong chakra, and thus, the Sharingan. At some point, Indra also awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, although just like Madara's eye, its abilities are unknown. In the anime, it's shown that Indra was capable of using the Amaterasu, but the manga doesn't back this. Indra did, however, possess the ability to use the full-body Susano'o without even unlocking the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, which is a huge feat in itself. He was strong enough to match Ashura in battle, which makes him one of the strongest Mangekyo Sharingan users in the entire series.
5 Obito Uchiha
Obito was a late-bloomer as his Sharingan manifested very late in the story. After witnessing Kakashi kill Rin, he awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan in his left eye. Obito's Mangekyo ability, known as Kamui, allowed him to transport parts of his body to a different dimension, making it look as if he were intangible.
He could also transport those who he touched with him, and over the years, he had practiced this art to perfection. As the Jinchūriki of the ten-tails, Obito lost the ability to use the Mangekyo Sharingan, or else he would've been invincible.
4 Madara Uchiha
Madara was the first Uchiha, along with Izuna, to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan. After years of training, he gained enormous power which he put to use against Hashirama Senju. Due to Hashirama's astronomical strength, Madara sought more power, and after his brother's death, he took his eyes to gain the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. Using its abilities, Madara gained the ability to use the full-body Susano'o, a casual slash from which was enough to split mountain ranges apart. Interestingly, Madara's Mangekyo Sharingan abilities were never revealed to us, despite him being the first one to awaken it.
3 Kakashi Hatake
Also known as the Copy Ninja, Kakashi Hatake was one of the most renowned shinobi in the Naruto series. Despite not being an Uchiha, his usage of Mangekyo Sharingan was admirable and even derived praise from Itachi. Kakashi was gifted the Sharingan from Obito Uchiha. After Rin's death, his eye evolved into a Mangekyo Sharingan.
Just like Obito, he possessed the power to use Kamui, but his variant allowed him to warp things away at a distance. When granted access to Obito's other eye as well, Kakashi became strong enough to fight Kaguya Otsutsuki and even blitzing her, making him one of the strongest characters in the entire series.
2 Sasuke Uchiha
Second on the list is none other than the strongest Uchiha of all time, Sasuke. He awakened the Sharingan during his first mission at Tenchi Bridge. After finding out about Itachi's death, Sasuke unlocked the Mangekyo Sharingan, and it possessed some frightening abilities. Using his left eye, Sasuke could use the Amaterasu, while his right eye could manipulate the shape of the said jutsu. He also awakened the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan after transplanting Itachi's eyes and could manifest the complete Susano'o as a result. Eventually, Sasuke's left eye would go on to become a Rinnegan with six tomoe.
1 Hagoromo Otsutsuki
In the Naruto Shippuden anime, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, was born with a Byakugan, which gradually evolved. As he got stronger, he managed to awaken the powers of the Mangekyo Sharingan as well.
What exactly his eyes did remains to be seen. However, he was seen capable of using a Full-body Susanoo with its powers. Powered by Six Paths chakra, this Susanoo was mighty enough to match Kaguya Otsutsuki in combat.
