Famed as the Copy Ninja, Kakashi Hatake is one of the most important characters in Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto series. As the Jonin leader of Team 7, Kakashi serves the role of guiding the likes of Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno to their goals.

Being one of the strongest characters in the series, Kakashi has a plethora of powerful Jutsu that he's learned or created over the years. While much of it is down to the use of his Sharingan, Kakashi's genius mind is what truly makes him a master of all arts. Here are the 10 strongest known techniques of Kakashi ever seen.

10 Rasengan

Kakashi Hatake is one of the very few users of the Rasengan technique, as seen in Naruto Shippuden. Although he doesn't use it much, Kakashi mastered this Jutsu at quite a young age.

However, since Raikiri is much better for him to use, Kakashi relies on it more than the Rasengan. Consequently, his usage of the Rasengan appears to be rather dull when compared to the likes of Naruto Uzumaki or Jiraiya.

9 Chidori

Chidori is an A-ranked Jutsu developed by Kakashi Hatake during his time under Minato Namikaze.

Literally meaning One Thousand Birds, this technique makes use of lightning style chakra in the palm of the user to create a powerful thrust-based technique, however, there doesn't appear to be any shape-manipulation, which is why it is a weaker version of Kakashi's signature technique.

8 Genjutsu: Sharingan

Kakashi versus Pain

Kakashi was a Sharingan user for the majority of his ninja life and was, thus, extremely reliant on it. His prowess with the eye was said to be on par with that of an Uchiha, who actually can inherit the Sharingan technique, unlike Kakashi, to whom it was given.

Using this eye, Kakashi was able to cast a powerful genjutsu on his opponents, just as any other Sharingan user could. However, since this technique wasn't all that powerful, he barely ever relied on it.

7 Raiden

Kakashi, being a master of lightning release ninjutsu, is able to perform high-level techniques without any trouble, Raiden being one of them.

When used, Kakashi creates a shadow-clone and connects two lightning cutters with a strong of lightning which is then used to electrocute the opponent. Although it's rank isn't known, it is a combination of two S-Ranked techniques, meaning it is quite powerful itself.

6 Raikiri

Raikiri, nicknamed Lightning Cutter, is the signature technique of Kakashi Hatake and a better version of the Chidori. Like the Chidori, the Raikiri is a thrust-based technique that relies on speed and penetration power to end the enemy instantly.

However, unlike the Chidori, this Jutsu appears to be much more concentrated, making it hit all the harder and faster. While the Chidori is an A-ranked Jutsu, the Raikiri is an S-ranked Jutsu.

5 Shiden

Shiden Kakashi

Shiden, also known as Purple Electricity, is one of the strongest and newest techniques of Kakashi Hatake. After losing his Sharingan during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kakashi could no longer rely on the Raikiri or the Chidori.

Instead, he developed a stronger technique, known as Shiden, which he could use from a distance. Like Raikiri, this technique is extremely powerful and can tear through the limbs of someone as mighty as a Tailed Beast.

4 Kamui (Long Variant)

Kamui is the Mangekyo Sharingan ability of Obito Uchiha. Kakashi, having obtained one Sharingan eye from Obito, gained access to this ability during the Third Great Ninja War, however, he didn't learn how to use it until much later.

When performed, Kakashi gained the ability to warp anything within a short range from him to the dimension of Kamui. As expected, this Jutsu is one of Kakashi's strongest to date.

3 Kamui (Short Variant)

The short variant of Kamui was used by Obito Uchiha throughout most of the Naruto series. After gaining both of the eyes during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kakashi also gained access to the other Kamui version.

Unlike the long variant, this version allowed Kakashi to use Kamui on himself or anyone extremely close to him. By sending his body parts to the Kamui dimension, Kakashi could make himself appear intangible, which is an incredibly powerful ability to have.

2 Susanoo

After gaining access to both Mangekyo Sharingan during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kakashi Hatake also managed to awaken the powers of the Susanoo.

Powered by the Six Paths chakra of Obito, this Susanoo was stronger than most others seen in the series. Since it also had the powers of Kamui, Kakashi's Susanoo was known to be incredibly powerful and it could even put up a fight against Kaguya Otsutsuki.

1 Kamui Raikiri

Kamui Raikiri is the strongest known Jutsu of Kakashi Hatake. Combining the powers of Kamui with that of a Raikiri enhanced with Six Paths chakra, Kakashi was able to create a surefire technique powerful enough to injure even the likes of Kaguya Otsutsuki.

This technique is extremely fast and at the same time, cannot be countered. Unfortunately, Kakashi only had access to it for as long as he had Obito's powers within his body.
