Whereas Rock Lee had to go through years of training in Taijutsu to achieve a level where he could hurt Gaara, Sasuke managed to do it in a month. His genius was such that he mastered Lee's movement in an extremely short amount of time and surpassed even Gaara's expectations, becoming the very first known person to ever wound him seriously.

The Mangekyo Sharingan is a power unique to the Uchiha clan of Konohagakure, but not even all of those in the clan can awaken this power as it can be manifested only by experiencing the loss of a loved one. His eyes gave him the power to use the Amaterasu and control the black flames using Kagutsuchi.

Although Sasuke was a skilled user of the Mangekyo Sharingan, he overused the eyes during the Five Kage Summit, causing his eyesight to weaken quite a lot. Consequently, Sasuke wanted Itachi's eyes transplanted into him. 6 Sasuke Is Only The Second Uchiha To Have The Rinnegan
In the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sasuke Uchiha met with Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, just as Naruto did. After talking to him for quite a while, Sasuke was gifted the Rinnegan from the sage, which powered him up to a completely new level. The only other Uchiha to have awakened the Rinnegan before him was Madara Uchiha, who gained it by stealing Hashirama Senju's flesh and infusing its powers within himself. Having the strongest eye, Sasuke was able to fight Madara Uchiha in his Ten-Tails form without much trouble.

By meeting Hagoromo Otsutsuki during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sasuke gained access to half of the Sage's power. While Naruto Uzumaki received the Six Paths Yang Power, Sasuke received the Six Paths Yin Power. This chakra strengthened him considerably to the point where he could trade blows with Six Paths Madara Uchiha. Sasuke and Naruto were the two strongest members of the Shinobi Alliance during the Fourth Great Ninja War, and when Kaguya arrived, they stepped up as the heroes.
He was just as important as Naruto for defeating Kaguya. With his powers, Sasuke managed to hold his own against her quite impressively. Utimately, he used the Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei along with Naruto to seal her away and save the entire world from her threat.

Sasuke is one of the most important characters for the safety of the shinobi world in the Boruto era. He has done everything in his power to help Naruto maintain the peace that was built following the Fourth Great Ninja War. Although Sasuke lost to Naruto at the Valley of the End, he's grown in strength since then. By the Boruto era, the two are said to be equal in strength and are known as the strongest shinobi in the entire world. When it comes to challenging the Kara or the Otsutsuki clan, Naruto and Sasuke share equal responsibility since they're pretty evenly matched in terms of ability and power.
1 Sasuke Defeated Momoshiki Otsutsuki Alongside Naruto And Boruto
Sasuke was one of the very few characters who were able to hold their own against Momoshiki Otsutsuki after he ate Kinshiki Otsutsuki. Thanks to his Six Paths powers and help from Naruto, Sasuke could keep up with him quite comfortably. He also played a major role in creating an opening for Boruto Uzumaki to kill Momoshiki with his Rasengan. Had it not been for him, the fight would've been lost and the age of shinobi would've ended.
