Shisui was someone Sasuke was close to when he was a child. The best friend of Sasuke's older brother Itachi, he was almost like another older brother to Sasuke.

Shisui's interactions with Sasuke proved that he was a kind and caring person. If he had succeeded in his efforts to keep war from breaking out between the Uchiha and the rest of the village, he would have given Sasuke a peaceful life.

9 Gaara Was Willing To Fight By Sasuke's Side

When Gaara first met Sasuke, they were set to be opponents during the Chunin Exams. Despite this contentious past, when Gaara encountered Sasuke in Shippuden, he tried to convince Sasuke to change. Gaara could relate to Sasuke's painful past, and Naruto had vouched for his former teammate. That was enough for Gaara to believe that Sasuke could become a better person. Though they started out as enemies, they were seen fighting together in Boruto.

Jugo was considered dangerous because of his abilities, which he couldn't fully control. He could transform his body and turn himself into a weapon, and at one point, he was imprisoned by Orochimaru.

After Sasuke defeated the legendary Sannin, he went on to recruit Jugo. While Jugo was reluctant to join Sasuke at first, he eventually agreed to aid Sasuke in the search for Itachi. Following Itachi's death, Jugo joined the Akatsuki along with his Taka teammates.

7 Suigetsu Hoped Sasuke Would Help Him Achieve His Goals

Suigetsu's dream was to gather the swords that belonged to the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. His pursuit of this goal was interrupted when he was captured by Orochimaru, who wanted to study Suigetsu's ability to liquefy himself.

When Sasuke defeated Orochimaru, he immediately freed some of Orochimaru's test subjects, including Suigetsu. Suigetsu agreed to join Sasuke's team in hopes of using their relationship to gather the seven swords. At Sasuke's side, he retrieved Kubikiribocho from Zabuza's grave and continued traveling with Sasuke's team.

6 Ino Easily Forgave Sasuke For His Wayward Past

Ino had a crush on Sasuke when they were children at the Academy. Like many of the girls in her class, she was impressed by Sasuke's skill and good looks. She was always a kind and compassionate person, proven by her willingness to accept the bullied Sakura into her friend group.

Even after Sasuke had left the village and committed evil acts, Ino was willing to accept him. She bore him no ill will and was excited to see him when he showed up to aid the Allied Shinobi Forces. She was also glad to see him when he returned to the village with Sarada in Boruto.

5 Kakashi Went From Teacher To Confidant

Kakashi was the leader of Sasuke's first team and he had a profound impact on shaping Sasuke as a ninja. On one of their early missions, Kakashi showed that he was willing to give his life to protect his young students. Sasuke later showed the same willingness to lay down his own life for his teacher.

Kakashi was the one who taught Sasuke his signature jutsu. Even in Boruto, Sasuke turned to his former teacher for advice, asking Kakashi how to relate to his daughter.

Sasuke's older brother always tried to steer him in the right direction. Itachi was willing to do anything to protect his brother; when he managed to make a deal with Danzo, he ended up having to sacrifice his entire clan to ensure Sasuke would be safe.

Though Sasuke spent a long time plotting his older brother's death, he eventually came to appreciate everything Itachi stood for. Even as an adult, Sasuke greatly regretted the circumstances surrounding Itachi's death.

3 Karin Was A Loyal Member Of Sasuke's Team

Karin was Sasuke's most loyal followers during his time with Hebi and Taka. She was obviously in love with him and willing to do anything for him. Having a unique chakra nature, she could heal and restore anyone who bit her, and Sasuke made use of her skills to recuperate from battle.

After Karin was heavily injured, Sasuke suggested Sakura kill her, and she wound up in a Konoha prison after Sasuke abandoned her. But even after everything he did, she was willing to forgive him.

2 Sakura And Sasuke Grew Close As Teammates

Sakura met Sasuke when they were children together at the Academy, and after graduation, she was delighted to find they had been placed on the same team. The two spent a lot of time together and got to know each other really well.

When Sasuke decided to leave Konoha, Sakura tried to stop him. She hoped that her feelings for him would be enough to make him stay. Though he still left, he later admitted that he had always had a close bond with her. Their marriage and the birth of their daughter seemed to solidify this bond.

1 Naruto Never Gave Up On Sasuke

Naruto was the one person who never gave up on Sasuke. There were times Sasuke acted against his better judgement, but Naruto never stopped viewing him as a good friend.

Naruto trusted and believed in Sasuke's ability to do the right thing. When Sasuke deserted the village, Naruto promised that he would bring Sasuke back someday, and during their final battle, Naruto was finally able to get through to his oldest friend.
