Sakura Haruno is a chunin-level kunoichi from the Hidden Leaf Village. From Naruto to Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, viewers have watched as Sakura developed from an annoying, insecure, lovesick girl to a strong, fearsome, and powerful woman. After many ups and downs over the course of her training that led to her becoming the woman that she is today, she's changed in many ways.

Some of these changes are amazing, while others are less so. But after everything that Sakura and her friends have been through, it’s no surprise that she has these amazing strengths and incredible weaknesses.

10 Strength: She's The Best Medical Ninja After Her Mentor Tsunade

While Naruto was off training with Jiraiya, Sakura remained in the Hidden Leaf Village and trained under Tsunade while she was still the Hokage. During this time, Sakura became a highly skilled medical ninja respected by her peers.

She was able to learn how to heal the most serious of wounds and was taught a great deal about herbalism. It's how she was able to save Kankuro's life. By the time of Boruto, she's considered one of the best medical ninjas and as such, serves as the head of the medical department.

9 Weakness: Sakura Can Be Insensitive To Other People's Feelings

When she was younger, Sakura had no problem being callous to the people around her — especially if it was Naruto or Ino, her rival for Sasuke's love. She never took other people's feelings into account or considered what they might be going through.

Even if this was done to mimic Sasuke and his callous attitude towards her and everyone else, that's not a good enough reason for her to be that way to others who were already living hard lives. She did grow out of this, though she still has no problem telling people what she thinks, whether for good or ill.

8 Strength: She's Developed Advanced Chakra Control After Disciplined Training

Much like her mentor Tsunade, Sakura has incredible strength and is often referred to as a monster. She can knock down walls, break open the ground, and crumble houses, even when it’s not on purpose. She's able to do this using incredible levels of chakra control.

When her impressive level of chakra control is combined with taijutsu, she becomes a deadly opponent as one punch could quite literally kill someone — as long as it lands. By channeling her chakra into certain areas, like her fists, and releasing it on impact, she becomes a formidable opponent in close combat.

7 Weakness: She Lets Her Temper Get The Best Of Her

Even before training with Tsunade and basically becoming a younger version of the Legendary Sannin, Sakura had a short temper. Sakura is quite capable of being patient and diplomatic, but she often lets her temper get the best of her.

When that happens, she blows up and things around her turn into rubble, or someone gets hurt. It was seen as childish and unprofessional, and many people feared triggering her fury. She isn't as short-tempered as she once was, but she still lets her moods get the best of her at times.

6 Strength: Sakura Worked Hard To Master Medical Ninjutsu And Be The Best

During her years at the Academy training with Team 7, and then under the tutelage of Tsunade, Sakura worked hard to improve her skills and gain new ones. Much like Naruto, Sakura wanted to improve so that she wouldn't be a burden to her teammates and allies.

She worked hard to show that she was just as skilled as Naruto and Sasuke were and have them recognize the powerful woman that she had become. No matter what the task before her was, Sakura threw her all into her training so that she could be an asset.

5 Weakness: Sakura Is Impulsive And Allows Her Emotions To Cloud Her Judgement

When it comes to those that she loves, Sakura's emotions often cloud her judgment. She would push down her emotions until something triggered her to explode. As a result, she often did incredibly impulsive things which didn’t always work out the way she hoped that they would.

Thankfully, she often had people around her like Naruto or Kakashi who were able to step in and prevent causalities or further trouble. Sakura is still impulsive; however, she now has the power to back her impulses.

4 Strength: She's Not Only Book Smart, But Can Analyze Situations Almost As Well As Shikamaru

Sakura is very intelligent, a trait that she passed down to her daughter, Sarada. During her time at the Academy, she received perfect marks on her exams and studied hard to gain all the knowledge that she could. She is also able to analyze situations and find an opponent's weaknesses. Now, she rivals Shikamaru in intelligence.

When it came to her medical ninjutsu training, Sakura was practically a natural. She was able to comprehend the information that she gathered and apply it in situations to achieve desirable results.

3 Weakness: She Allows Her Insecurities To Dictate Her Life

From a young age, Sakura battled with her insecurities. It didn't help that her frenemy-style relationship with Ino inflamed her self-doubt, especially when it came to her large forehead and their mutual love for Sasuke.

Not only that, but Sakura's insecurities came in many forms: her affection for Sasuke and wondering whether he loved her back, her weaknesses as a ninja, and her feelings about never being good enough. She did grow out of many of her insecurities, though they did cause many problems for her when she was young.

2 Weakness: Sakura's Love For Sasuke Influenced Many Of Her Other Insecurities

Sakura has been in love with Sasuke — to the point of an unhealthy obsession — ever since they were students at the Academy together. She didn't fall in love with his personality, at least in the beginning, but rather how cute he was. Her love for him put both Sakura and Naruto in harm’s way.

She also put her love for Sasuke before almost everything, including practicing her ninja skills. This resulted in Sakura not living up to her full potential and influenced many of her other insecurities.

1 Strength: Her Love For Her Friends Empowers Her

From the beginning, Sakura's love for Sasuke was known by almost everyone. Even though he didn't reciprocate it in the beginning, she never let that affect her. But that's not the only love that she has in her heart.

Sakura loved her friends and was there for them in their times of need. This wasn’t always the case with every ally, as Sakura and Ino in particular fought and argued quite often. But deep down, her love for her friends helped her to grow stronger in times of need.
