The characters of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto is known for being incredibly colorful, diverse, and pretty much all of them grow into exceptionally strong people by the time Boruto begins, which is wonderful to see. Out of all of the kunoichi, the talented female ninja that fill the world of Konoha, one of the most recognizable has to be Sakura, and she sure deserves the recognition.

She went from someone who had to rely on her teammates to a blossoming, brave medical ninja with power and chakra control that matches, and in some cases, succeeds, that of her teacher, Tsunade. With such a beautiful design and strong, compelling character, it's no wonder she's won the hearts of fan artists.

10 The Ladies Of The Hidden Leaf

As the characters we've come to know and love grew and got older, new, wonderful character designs came alongside that growth, and they were quickly picked up on by the community. Kartasmita does a phenomenal job here depicting not only Sakura, but Hinata, Ino, and Tenten as well, and all of them are colored wonderfully.

Each expression tells a lot about the character as well, from the confidence Sakura developed to Hinata's shy and gentle nature.

9 Breathtaking Tribute

This absolutely stunning piece of Sakura, done by RikaMello to pay tribute to her for her birthday, expresses a beautiful love for the character that's impossible to portray with words alone. The single, solemn tear that falls down her face as she brandishes a contrasting smile tells a lot about her growth, and the artist's description is heart-wrenching yet sweet.

They state that they used to hate Sakura for always crying, but after having seen the character grow into such a strong and reliable ninja, she's earned the right to shed tears. There couldn't be a more beautiful depiction of that.

8 Autumn In Konoha

Most fans are aware that the two main end-game pairings ended up being NaruHina and SasuSaku, but it's pretty cute and refreshing to see Sakura and Hinata painted in a softer, more romantic light. The two are depicted going on an autumn date outside of the Leaf Village, drawn by CherryInTheSun, as depicted by the Hokage Rock seen in the background.

The coloring and lighting on this piece are absolutely gorgeous, and they both look exceptionally happy, which is heart-warming to see.

7 Chasing Butterflies

Naruto and Sakura's relationship isn't always painted in the best light, due to several things that each of them does to each other throughout the course of the series, so it's wonderful to see such a cheerful childhood photo, done by Milady666. Both of them look so happy, and it's almost as if the laughter is audible just from seeing this picture.

It's also an incredibly similar style to the show, and it's always impressive when an artist manages to pull that off.

6 Overly Intense Gaze

This incredibly intense coloring of Sakura standing beside Sasuke, his arm draped around her, was done by the wonderful AR-UA. It's worth noting that this is a redraw and coloring of a panel from the manga, and the artist was able to get every single detail down quite well.

The light shining on them is a great detail, although, because of the fact that Sasuke just showed up to save Sakura, his expression is so intense that he gives off the feeling of being ready to attack.

5 Source Of Hope

After so much of the story focuses on Team Seven being apart and the strain that their missing relationship puts on all three of them, it's always much appreciated seeing fan art finally depicting all three of them together again. In this piece by MuseSilver, Naruto is gripping his teammates incredibly tight while wearing an expression that comes across as rather pained.

It's fittingly entitled "Hope," perhaps symbolizing that the greatest source of hope that any of them could get is from each other, which is sweet after seeing them apart for so long.

4 A Mother's Loving Gaze

Art of Sakura tends to depict her either as a fierce warrior or a helpless beginner, without much in-between, so it's great to see her soft motherly side being represented in this piece by angelcake12. It's evident with one look at her expression just how much she cares for and treasures Sarada, and while the coloring style is rather simple, the simplicity fits quite well and helps draw focus to Sakura's expression.

Although she doesn't always appreciate it, Sarada is blessed to have such a wonderfully sweet mother.

3 Soft Scarf Tug

This adorably soft piece by AkemiiN depicts a super sweet Sakura and Sasuke, the latter being gently tugged forward by the former, desiring her partner's attention. It's incredibly cute, the lineart and coloring style working to compliment the piece well, and it shows how their dynamic changes from when they're simply teammates to when they start seeing each other in a more romantic light.

Sasuke seems totally fine with it, too, showing how much Sakura's influence allowed him to open up and become more expressive, or at least deny expression from others less.

2 Lounging About

It's great getting to see Team Seven as they were originally depicted, lounging about after being completely and utterly exhausted from a long afternoon of survival training out in the forest. Such a beautiful tribute to the older days of Naruto was done by the super talented kanzzzaki, whose gorgeous coloring leaves an especially strong impression on the viewer.

Seeing Kakashi's shadow looming over them while they rest is a great touch; if it was anyone other than their Sensei, this might seem threatening, but knowing he's probably looking down at them with a satisfied smile simply makes it sweet.

1 Graceful Lines

Askerian completely blew this Sakura fan art out of the park, everything from the way the lines look and come together, to the coloring, and even down to Sakura's basic pose. This outfit on her is downright lovely, and we can't help but crave getting to see her fully animated in such a gorgeous outfit.

What makes this piece particularly incredible is that although it looks completely digital, it was actually drawn with real china ink.
