Kakashi Hatake is one of the most important characters in Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto story. Being the leader of Team 7, Kakashi had the responsibility to raise Naruto and his teammates into the best possible shinobi they could be and for that, he had to be tremendously capable.

Famed as the Copy Ninja, Kakashi's biggest strength was the Sharingan that he received from Obito Uchiha during the Third Great Ninja War. Unfortunately, the Fourth Great Ninja War marked the end of his time with the Sharingan after Madara stole it. Nonetheless, Kakashi remains to be among the strongest even without the eye.

Kakashi Hatake is a master of innumerable jutsu and he can also use the famous Rasengan, a Jutsu considered to be the legacy of the Fourth Hokage. He is known to have learned this Jutsu at quite an early age, even before he came up with the Chidori. In fact, Kakashi's Chidori is a failed attempt at adding his lightning nature to the Rasengan. After losing the Sharingan, he still has access to this jutsu today.

One of Kakashi's biggest assets as a fighter is that he's a fairly balanced shinobi. Not only does he have a strong arsenal of attacks up his sleeve but he can also defend from oncoming attacks just as well. Kakashi's strongest defensive technique after losing the Sharingan is the Earth-Style Wall, the powers of which he displayed against Pain during his invasion of Konohagakure.

8 Kakashi Can Trick His Opponents With A Lightning Style Shadow Clone

One of Kakashi's most prominent strategies throughout the story is his clever usage of the lightning style Shadow Clone Jutsu. As the name suggests, this technique allows him to create a clone of himself with lightning release chakra. Once the clone comes in contact with the target, it paralyzes them, giving the real Kakashi an opportunity to finish the job. He used this technique several times in the story, most notably when he fought and defeated Obito Uchiha in the Kamui dimension.

After losing his Sharingan, Kakashi couldn't make use of his signature technique, the Raikiri, anymore. After the end of Naruto, he came up with a new Jutsu known as Shiden, which worked very similar to the Raikiri but didn't need the Sharingan.

This technique channels a bolt of incredibly powerful lightning that proved to be strong enough to even damage the Nue. Currently, it is Kakashi's strongest technique.

Kakashi Hatake has great skills when it comes to Kenjutsu. As a teen, he was skilled enough to wield his father's White Light Saber, and later on, Kakashi displayed the skill of being able to easily use the Executioner's Blade, one of the swords of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. His skills with a sword have most definitely not weakened after losing his Sharingan as he can still fight against any strong opponent when given a blade.

5 Kakashi Can Utilize The Power Of The Eight Inner Gates

Unsurprisingly, Kakashi displayed the power to use one of the Eight Inner Gates during the Chunin Exams arc of Naruto when he was climbing up a cliff for practice. Although he's never used this power since, the fact remains that Kakashi is capable of tapping into it. Using this power, Kakashi can remove all his mental inhibitions. Whether he's learned to open more gates or not remains unknown.

Being a master of over a thousand techniques, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that Kakashi has a decent amount of Fuinjutsu techniques up his sleeve. A glimpse of his proficiency with this power was given to the fans during the Chunin Exams arc when he attempted to seal away Sasuke's Cursed Seal's spreading influence.

Given that the technique was extremely complicated, Kakashi likely has some easier Fuinjutsu techniques up his sleeve as well.

3 Kakashi Can Utilize The Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu

Although Kakashi's reserves of chakra aren't as great as Naruto's, he's more than capable of using multiple shadow clones. He was seen using this power during the Land of Waves arc. Having lost the Sharingan, Kakashi should be able to conserve more chakra now and make his Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu even stronger than it was before.

Just like most elite ninja, Kakashi has his own signature summoning and they're his pack of ninja hounds, led by Pakkun. Introduced in the Land of Waves arc, Kakashi's dogs are strong enough to hold down targets and make fighting easier for himself. What's more is that they're excellent when it comes to tracking down targets, making them versatile. They perfectly suit Kakashi's style as a ninja.

One of Kakashi's most useful techniques, Shiden Nagashi is an application of Shiden that he created sometime after the Naruto series ended. Using this technique, Kakashi can channel current through his entire body, paralyzing and inflicting damage to anyone too close to him. This technique was demonstrated by him during the Academy Graduation exams arc in Boruto when he fought Boruto's entire class at once.
