Hinata Hyuga didn't necessarily have the disposition of a ninja. Her kindness and gentleness would get in the way of some of the tough situations she'd have to make in battle. The life she has in Boruto seems to suit her much better, as she gets the chance to care for her cherished family.

Children in the Leaf Village often begin ninja training under their mother's tutelage. One of the setbacks Naruto faced in childhood was that there was no one around to help train him. Boruto's fighting style clearly echoes Hinata's gentle fist at times.
Around the same time, Sarada seems to have none of her mother's talents. While she is eventually shown using Sakura's powerful punch, she seems to have gained none of her mother's medical skills. Sakura could have helped train Sarada, especially after Hinata helped train her children.

Hinata is well-known for her cooking skills. Even as children, Naruto praised Hinata's cooking. Hinata is often seen cooking for her family, and is so skilled at it that she possibly should have pursued a career as a chef.
Sakura isn't all that well-known for her cooking skills. In fact, it is implied that Sakura isn't a very good cook at all. Hinata's cooking skills help her take care of her family. Sakura may be good at a variety of things, but Sarada's skills in the kitchen seem to imply that she is the main cook in the Uchiha household.

When Himawari gets sick, it seems like everyone in the Uzumaki household has a different idea about how to take care of her. Boruto and Naruto begin to fight over the best way to care for the youngest family member.
As a result, Hinata kicks out her son and husband. Hinata shows how tough she can be in this rare moment of anger. She chooses to help her sick daughter have a stress-free environment, prioritizing taking care of Himawari.

She understands his pain and can relate to how Boruto is feeling. When Sarada is asking about her own father's absence, Sakura fails to offer an explanation.

Boruto is put through some scrutiny when it's time for him to graduate from the academy. He seems to lack direction. Hinata becomes annoyed by Boruto's apparent lack of direction. Unlike his father, Boruto doesn't have any idea what he wants to be in the future.
In a moment of bonding, Boruto asks his mother why she became a ninja. Hinata had to explain how things were different in the past. It gave Boruto some direction moving forward and he was better able to understand his mother.

During the Chunin Exams, the Leaf Village finds themselves under attack. The Otsutsuki pose a major threat to everyone in the village. Despite an admirable fight, Naruto decides to sacrifice himself for everyone's benefit.
Hinata rushes to her husband's side, trying to rescue him. Like Naruto, there are things she values more than herself. She didn't want to see her life carry on without Naruto. She helped Boruto realize how important family truly is.
2 Hinata Helps Explain The Ninja World
Boruto had been lucky in life. He had always faced challenges head-on and come out on top. When he had to face Deepa in a fight, he almost loses his life. His family rushes to his side as he recovers in the hospital.
Hinata is clearly distraught by her son's condition. She lends a comforting presence to her daughter, continuing to care for him when he's weak. When Himawari doesn't understand what's going on, Hinata is there to help explain things.

Team 7 is out on a mission when they find the unconscious Kawaki. When they bring the boy back to the leaf village, Hinata and Naruto decide to take him in. Kawaki is difficult to deal with at first, as he had been treated as a science experiment and raised without love.
Hinata begins to treat him like a son. She shows him great kindness and attempts to foster a relationship between Kawaki and Boruto. She selflessly takes in a perfect stranger and makes him a part of her family.
