Without a doubt, Naruto is one of the most successful manga and anime series in existence. Written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, the story centers around a young ninja named Naruto Uzumaki. The first part is set in his childhood, and the second during his teenage years. Kishimoto's work was a hit, becoming the fourth best selling manga series in history. Its anime adaption only added to its success with mostly positive commentary. Naruto Shippuden has been ranked several times as one of the most watched series in Japan.
Naruto has one major goal: to become the Hokage (leader) of his village. Whether you know him from his love of ramen or style of running, he is one of the most beloved characters in anime history. Fans of the series pay homage through cosplay, and what better way to do so then cosplaying the title protagonist? In no particular order, here are our ten Naruto cosplays that are so good, they defy all Naruto logic.
10 Naruto Loves Ramen
As per the caption, everyone knows Naruto loves his ramen! His favorite restaurant is Ramen Ichiraku, and he's a regular customer. He stops for a bowl in between missions, often joined by Iruka Umino. In fact, Naruto takes Hinata Hyūga to Ramen Ichiraku for their first date.
She became a regular customer as well, even accomplishing one of their ramen eating contests! Elijah (IG: elijtolosa) looks so cute as Naruto eating his favorite dish.
9 Gryffindor Naruto
Ever wonder how Naruto would fare at Hogwarts? This cosplayer (IG: narut9_) reimagines Naruto in the Harry Potter universe. Considering his bravery and determination, Naruto would totally be a Gryffindor. The red and yellow robes show house pride, yet the wig and makeup clearly reads as Naruto.
The addition of the Golden Snitch means he's a Seeker on the Quidditch team. The originality and creativeness of this concept earns a spot on this list of the best.
8 Naruto and Hinata
Soph (IG: sophieriis) and Katrinuchan (IG: katrinuchan) make such a cute couple as Naruto and Hinata. Hinata Uzumaki-Hyūga is a kunoichi, or female warrior, of Konohagakure. In the first part of the story, Naruto and Hinata attend school together. In the Sasuke Recovery Mission Arc, she vows to become stronger like him as he he leaves the village.
The second part of the story sees their relationship blossom into romance. They eventually marry and have children. From the colored contacts to the spot-on costumes, we can say we ship NaruHina after seeing these cosplays.
7 Sunshine Naruto
Marc (IG: heartforces) looks so happy in her Naruto cosplay. The outfit is from Part II, or Naruto Shippuden. It's one of his more casual costumes, but everything about this rendition looks great.
From the headband to the jacket -- and practical addition of the fanny pack -- we love it. She wore this cosplay at Holiday Matsuri, which we recommend every anime fan attends in 2020.
6 Jounin Uniform Naruto
In Naruto, Jōnin are highly experienced and highly skilled shinobi (ninjas) who serve as military captains. Jōnin can use least two types of elemental chakra. Because of their high status, they go on more difficult missions, and are instructors of genin teams. One has to be recommended or pass an exam to become jōnin, yet villagers and the Kage can grant the promotion as well.
If we had a say, we would have promoted Naruto from shinobi to jōnin. To strengthen our argument, we present this awesome cosplay by TDawg (IG: tdawg_dphantom_cosplay). The uniform looks exactly like the anime, and shows the hero we deserved, but never got.
5 Battle Ready Naruto
Who's ready for a battle? Our bets are on Shiro (IG: celestial_coz). He is a cosplayer and crossplayer who rocks a bunch of anime characters. His Naruto is no exception from its awesomeness. From the track suit to the spiky wig, this cosplay looks just like the anime.

4 Manga Naruto
We've all heard the arguments between whether the manga is better than the anime, or vice versa. Although with Spooky Yuki Cosplay (IG: spookyyuki) we don't have to choose. From the intricately styled wig to the realistic costume, this cosplay is absolutely flawless.
And yes, it's ALL the manga behind them, which shows their dedication as a fan, and makes for a unique background. What an awesome shot!
3 Naruto Sage Mode
ZamasuCosplay (IG: zamasucosplay) is exquisite as Sage Mode Naruto. Sage Mode is an empowered state that one achieves when blending natural energy and their chakra, which creates senjutsu chakra. This enhanced state then allows one tap into the natural force of the world, unlocking new techniques and powers.

2 Fem Naruto
Emmi (IG: emmi27_cosplay) is beautiful as a girl version of Naruto. She does a great job at feminizing key elements of Naruto's design, such as styling blonde pigtails and wearing jewelry. Aside from the wig, she made the cosplay herself, and it looks spot on.

1 Classic Naruto
You can't go wrong with Naruto's classic orange costume. Christian David Bermudez (IG: unusual_cosplay_buddy) proves it in his Naruto cosplay. He made the jacket himself and it looks exactly like the show. The hair and the headband are fantastic additions, of course.
The pose shows off his shy side, so maybe Hinata was behind the camera when the photo was taken (although we recommend you swipe through for some funnier shots). As per his Instagram highlights, he also makes Tik Toks as the character.
