10 Naruto Can't Go On Missions As A Ninja Anymore

One of the most fascinating aspects of the Naruto series was watching Naruto Uzumaki take on several missions head-on. At times, these ordeals proved to be extremely difficult and raised the story's intensity quite a lot.

With Naruto as Hokage, he can no longer leave his village and go on missions. The various Jonin that he has working under him take the responsibility instead. Knowing Naruto, he would certainly like to go on the missions himself.

However, ever since becoming the village's Hokage, Naruto can no longer play pranks and make fans laugh. His responsibilities are far too big for him to engage in such trivial stuff.

During his time as a Genin, Naruto used to train all the time. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that he was an incredibly hardworking ninja, just like Rock Lee. Looking back at his life as a ninja, Naruto has always been training to get better and attain the title of Hokage.

However, now that he has the Hokage title, he no longer has the need to improve himself. In fact, he's so busy with work all the time that he can't even find the time to train anymore.

Naruto was the Naruto series' protagonist, so it goes without saying that he was the focus of everything that Kishimoto built around him. Now, the story revolves around Boruto, and even though Naruto is the Hokage, he isn't going to be as big of a focus of the story as he was in the predecessor series.

Furthermore, becoming the Hokage ensures that Naruto rarely gets called into action, if ever, and most of the job is handled by Boruto and his ninja team.

6 Naruto Uzumaki Cannot Travel Across The Shinobi World

Naruto spent quite a lot of time traveling across the shinobi world back in the day and this is certainly something that he enjoyed, given that it played a role in his growth. Now that he is the Hokage, Naruto is glued to one spot.

He gets flooded by paperwork all the time and his presence at the Hokage's office every single day is extremely important. Naruto can no longer leave the village and roam the world like his mentor Jiraiya did.

5 Naruto Cannot Track The Otsutsuki With Sasuke

Naruto and Sasuke are two of the most accomplished ninja alive currently and humanity's only chance against the Otsutsuki clan. One would like the two to track the Otsutsuki down together; however, that certainly isn't possible anymore.

While Sasuke looks for the clues that the Otsutsuki left behind, Naruto sits in his office and looks after the village. For Naruto, aiding Sasuke in hunting the Otsutsuki clan is no longer an option.

4 Naruto Cannot Enjoy Time With His Family

The Hokage position brings an immense amount of pressure, along with tons of responsibilities. Naruto certainly never endured this much pressure in his life and even though he's a capable leader, something has to give in order for him to continue doing his job properly.

Sadly, it is Naruto's time with his family that is sacrificed so he can do his job properly. Evidently, this doesn't sit well with some members of his family.

3 Naruto Can't Be There For Himawari & Boruto In Times Of Need

Naruto's kids, Boruto and Himawari, are both very young right now and need someone to guide them. As a young ninja, Boruto will have his ups and downs, while Himawari would love to be in her father's comforting presence.

Sadly, Naruto can't fulfill either of those roles as his job as the Seventh Hokage takes up most of his time and ensures that he doesn't always go home to his kids.

2 Naruto Cannot Train Konohamaru Sarutobi

Konohamaru Sarutobi is Naruto's apprentice, and just like him, he aims to become the Hokage as well. Konohamaru has been training under Naruto for years now and he's certainly gotten better.

However, he can no longer do that, now that Naruto is the Hokage. Furthermore, Konohamaru's own responsibilities as a Jonin also prevent him from training under Naruto.

1 Naruto Cannot Enjoy a Healthy Life

While becoming the Hokage was Naruto's dream, it certainly isn't a fun experience for him. On countless occasions, Naruto had exhausted himself, and given that he is an Uzumaki with limitless chakra, that should not be the case.

There have been times when he has spent consecutive nights in his office and others where he simply passed out. Naruto's life is very unhealthy for him and not nearly as good as it was back in the day.
