There are a ton of unique powers that can be found in the world of anime, from transformations to summoning special attacks. Out of these incredible abilities, healers often go overlooked. In fact, many people look to the show Naruto when trying to name an anime character that can heal, thanks to the character Sakura. It's not surprising that Sakura isn't the best healer in all of anime, and many fans of the genre even think that her range of healing abilities are quite limited. There are dozens of other anime characters with healing abilities that would make most medical ninjas red with envy.
10 Recovery Girl
Fans of My Hero Academia should be familiar with Recovery Girl, who is the official school nurse of U.A. Highschool. Recovery Girl has been in the hero game for quite some time and was born with the ability to heal others with a kiss.
Recovery Girl can heal severe injuries like a broken arm in just mere seconds making her extremely useful on the battlefield. On top of using her ability, she also knows how to perform surgery and is a functioning doctor.
9 Nurse Joy
Pokémon battles are nothing to laugh at, and as seen in Origins, can actually be pretty brutal, especially if the trainers don't step in to stop it. Despite the fact that so many creatures get badly injured, there doesn't seem to be any real fear among trainers.
Nurse Joy is able to heal any Pokémon no matter what condition they arrive at the center in. While it has been shown in the game that she uses a machine, the anime has also shown her rushing Pokémon into surgery.
8 Orihime Inoue
Orihime has an incredible healing ability that allows her to regenerate limbs quickly. Her power is essentially able to reverse or rewrite an injury so that it is like it was never inflicted on the victim in the first place.
Characters in the show have even remarked that her ability to heal is above that which any spirit or mortal should be able to possess. Orihime is even able to bring those around her back from the dead.
7 Kikyo
The healing arts in Inuyasha are based around the lore of literally destroying the evil entities that are trying to take away someone or make them sick. Kikyo is a woman with the ability to repel and destroy evil forces with ease.
Kikyo is also able to pull deadly miasma out of others' bodies and has been shown to be able to revive those around her. The only other healer on par with her is Sesshomaru when he chooses to use the Tenseiga.
6 Anos Voldigoad
Anos is a newer anime character from the show The Misfit of Demon King Academy, and he is completely overpowered in every way. Anos can pretty much heal just about any affliction or injury in a matter of seconds.
He can revive or reincarnate someone just as fast. His powers have been shown to completely transcend that of anyone else in the show, and he is even able to take on deities without a problem due to his powers.
5 Sailor Moon
While not everyone immediately links Sailor Moon with the ability to heal, she is incredible at it. Sailor Moon actually heals evil enemies with most of her attacks and is able to prolong the life of everyone in Crystal Tokyo.
At her most powerful, she can even heal the entirety of the world after it has been badly damaged by Sailor Galaxia. She was shown in S to be able to return others to their infant forms and negate their death.
4 Dende
Dende is from Dragon Ball Z and is incredibly impressive with his healing abilities. It is shown that Dende has more power than just healing wounds as clothes that are on the person he is caring for will also be mended.
Dende helps the Z fighters at several stages and is an important member of the series. While he can't bring back the dead like Shenron, but for a mortal, his healing abilities are completely amazing.
3 Josuke Higashikata
Josuke is the main character from JoJo Part 4 and uses the stand, Crazy Diamond. Crazy Diamond has quite a few unique abilities, including an incredibly powerful way to restore those around him who are injured.
Not only can he heal enemies, but he can also heal objects around him, which is used in a battle as a strategy. All Crazy Diamond needs to do in order to use this incredible healing ability is to simply touch someone.
2 Aqua
Aqua is the goddess from Konosuba that is able to reincarnate Kazuma into a new world. Despite her clumsy nature, she is actually incredibly adept at both water and healing magic, as shown several times in the show.
Aqua is able to heal Kazuma's body no matter what state it is in and pull him back from the afterlife. This incredible ability makes those around her immortal, and she is most likely the best healer in the world.
1 Rimuru Tempest
Rimuru is pretty much the definition of an overpowered anime character. Not only can he absorb the form and abilities of anyone he eats, but his body is able to process and brew potions with ease.
In order to keep his new nation in check and care for his allies, he processes bucket loads of healing potions inside of his body. These potions are so potent that they can restore pretty much any injured party to full health in seconds.
