With the dangers associated with the life of shinobi in Naruto, it only makes sense that each village would train healers. 9 Hinata Hyuga: She Heals & Supports Her Comrades & Friends When They Need It
Though Hinata isn't officially labeled as a medical-nin in any official capacity, her healing skills are great. Her family's training techniques have helped her to have especially good chakra control.
While the Hyuga Clan is known for their Byakugan and gentle fist fighting style, Hinata has showcased her medical knowledge and abilities on a few occasions. She gives Naruto some of her special healing ointment during the Chunin Exam, which she likely made herself, and was shown later in the series using the standard Healing Jutsu.
8 Kabuto Yakushi: He Has Aided Orochimaru Well With His Knowledge Of The Human Body & Medical Jutsu
Kabuto was an orphan from Konoha. As a child, he showed an affinity for medical techniques. He has an incredible amount of knowledge concerning the human body and the chakra network.
He has a technique that allows him to heal injuries from a distance, and he invents his own technique, called Yin Healing Wound Technique. This technique allows him to preemptively heal himself and others, healing the wounds as soon as they are inflicted.
7 Shizune: She Was Personally Trained By The Greatest Medical-Nin, Tsunade
Shizune was the niece of Tsunade's first love. Tsunade took on Shizune as an apprentice. After Tsunade retired from being a shinobi, Shizune continued to travel and learn from her. Thanks to Tsunade's training, Shizune became one of the greatest healers in Konoha.
Shizune is best-known for her amazing chakra control. She is able to perform various complex and delicate medical-related techniques. When Sarada is injured in an episode of Boruto, Sakura turns to Shizune to save her daughter's life.
6 Shin Uchiha: His Medical Knowledge Makes Him A Dangerous Threat
Shin was born with a unique ability. His body wouldn't reject any tissue transplanted into him. Orochimaru took advantage of his abilities and experimented on Shin. Shin became implanted with the Sharingan and began to create clones.
He had an interest in medical abilities, perhaps stemming from his past with Orochimaru. He seemed to favor using scalpels in a fight. He was shown to have extensive knowledge of the human body, knowing exactly where to strike to cause the most damage. He would use his clones for spare body parts using advanced surgeries.
5 Karin Uzumaki: She Can Heal Whoever Bites Her
Karin was born with the unique ability to transfer her chakra to other people, healing them in the process. She has been shown to possess some medical knowledge, though her knowledge is extensive. When Sakura went into labor with her only child, she turned to Karin to help deliver Sarada.
Karin had a somewhat tragic past where her mother died as a result of her abilities. After the death of her mother, Karin's village began to take advantage of her powers. Orochimaru became interested in her specifically because of her healing capabilities.
4 Chiyo: She Saved Gaara's Life In Exchange For Her Own
Chiyo was a puppet master and medical-nin. Along with her brother, she became revered for her puppetry skills. Chiyo was the one who transplanted Shukaku into Gaara and helped deliver the baby when he arrived early. She would later use her medical expertise and sacrifice her own life to save Gaara.
She was adapt at healing, but she would also use her extensive knowledge to poison her enemies. Her incredibly deadly poisons had only ever been countered by Tsunade, causing Chiyo to dislike the future Hokage. While she didn't always use her medical knowledge to do good things, she was no doubt one of the best medical ninja out there.
3 Tsunade Senju: She Is One Of The Legendary Sannin Who Has Taught Other Ninja In The Medical Field
Tsunade was the granddaughter of the First Hokage, so she grew up being treated like royalty. After her younger brother died on a mission, she began to advocate for villages to add more medical-nin to the battlefield. She honed her own medical skills, becoming renowned for her medical knowledge and abilities.
Her best-known jutsu is her self-invented, Creation Rebirth. The jutsu requires a lot of chakra, which she stores up over time. When unleashed, she is able to use the jutsu to heal herself and her allies.
2 Sakura Haruno: She Learned From Tsunade & Established Various Hospitals
Prior to becoming a medical ninja, Sakura was assigned to Team 7. She was known for her brilliant mind, but she seemed to lack effective fighting skills in the beginning. After Sasuke leaves the village, Sakura turns to Tsunade to help train her. Under Tsunade's watchful eye, Sakura becomes an incredible medical-nin.
She works toward establishing various health clinics throughout the world and works to save as many lives as possible, making herself quite well-known in that regard. Sakura has taken what Tsunade taught her to heart and carried what she learned to the next level.
1 Momoshiki Otsutsuki: His Abilities Helped Him Survive His Death
Momoshiki displayed an incredible ability to heal himself. Like anyone in the Otsutsuki Clan, he could easily heal any of his wounds by consuming chakra. His chakra consumption has helped him survive to an incredible level.
He was able to transfer his consciousness to another person, Boruto. This transference has allowed him to survive his own death. Studying his life-giving abilities could help further medical knowledge within the Naruto universe.
