The Fourth Great Ninja War, also known as the Fourth Shinobi World War, is an event with great significance in the world of Naruto. It broke out after Pain's Akatsuki finally fell, and Obito Uchiha took control of what remained.

Thanks to help from Kabuto Yakushi, Obito managed to gain such fire-power for the war that even the five shinobi nations combined proved to be at a disadvantage against them. The war gave us some of the most memorable fights that we've seen to date, and today, we'll be talking about ten fights that we think stand out the most, so let's begin!

10 Itachi and Sasuke Vs. Kabuto Yakushi

Kabuto Yakushi dug his own grave by reincarnating Itachi Uchiha during the Fourth Great Ninja War. By breaking free of his control, Itachi joined forces with Sasuke Uchiha and decided to take down Kabuto for good. Not only did this fight give us a glimpse of the Uchiha brothers' teamwork, but it also displayed the powers of Sage Mode Kabuto, which is something we're sure every fan enjoyed.

The fight ended with Itachi Uchiha putting Kabuto Yakushi in a loop of events in a Genjutsu, thanks to Izanami. Shortly after releasing the Edo Tensei, the fans were treated with a tear-jerking moment between the two brothers.

9 Naruto Uzumaki vs. Third Raikage

After joining the battlefield, Naruto Uzumaki took on the Third Raikage in an incredible fight that tested his patience along with his ability to read a situation. To break through the Raikage's defense, Naruto needed to pierce through his lightning armor, something that wasn't possible even for a powerful wind style user.

The fight focused on Naruto's wit, and it was beautifully adapted from the manga, ending with Naruto using the Sage Mode and the Rasengan to divert the Hell Stab back at the Raikage to defeat him.

8 Naruto And Sasuke Vs. Madara Uchiha

Naruto Shippuden Madara Uchiha

After being nursed back from near-death situations, both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha gained incredible powers, thanks to the Sage of Six Paths. With their newly gained powers, Madara Uchiha was given the fight of his life, and for the fans, it was a joy to watch.

The stakes for the battle were extremely high, and we were certain that it could well be the greatest Naruto fight to date. However, the way Kishimoto decided to kill Madara Uchiha off was truly horrible. Instead of Madara, Naruto and Sasuke fought Kaguya, which wasn't half as good as the original Madara fight.

7 Madara Uchiha Vs. The Shinobi Alliance

Quite possibly the greatest fight in the shinobi war, Madara Uchiha's clash against the alliance was something every fan savored. On top of being an incredibly well-choreographed fight, the shock of Madara returning to the battlefield was too much for the fans to handle.

The fight showed us what unstoppable force Madara Uchiha really was and how an entire battalion wasn't enough to fight against him on the battlefield. Truly, it hyped Madara up to be the greatest villain in the series, although later, he didn't quite get the ending he so deserved.

6 Naruto And Bee Vs. Obito's Six Paths

Naruto Uzumaki's fight against Obito Uchiha began with the latter introducing a power Naruto was already familiar with, the Six Paths of the Rinnegan. Although this fight clearly wasn't as good as Naruto Vs. Pain, it gave the fans a new perspective on how the Rinnegan could be used.

Furthermore, it also helped Naruto strengthen his bond with the Tailed Beasts, taking him one step closer to achieving his goal. Towards the end, Naruto Uzumaki is joined by Might Guy and Kakashi Hatake starting yet another incredible fight.

5 Naruto And Team Vs The Obito And The Jinchūriki

Following the arrival of Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy on the battlefield, Kishimoto managed to take all the fights to a new level, and we got to see them join Naruto and Bee against the Tailed Beasts at Obito's disposal.

Although Naruto ended up taking most of the spotlight here, thanks to the help provided by Kurama, it was still an incredible fight to witness. Kakashi's intelligence, coupled with Guy's combat ability, helped our heroes finally uncover the true identity of Tobi.

4 Kakashi Hatake Vs. Obito Uchiha

Kakashi Hatake's clash against Obito Uchiha is one of the best-animated fights that we've seen in the entire Naruto series, and it's impossible not to have it on here. After finding out that the identity of Obito Uchiha, Kakashi takes it upon himself to fight him and end the madness that was the Fourth Great Ninja War once and for all.

In an emotional clash of two former friends, we witness a fight packed with action and intensity. Most fans treat this fight as one of the best in the entire series and it's hard to disagree with their opinion.

3 The Four Hokage Vs. Ten-Tails

Four Hokage vs Ten Tails in Naruto

The four Hokage join the battlefield in the Fourth Great Ninja War thanks to Sasuke Uchiha bringing back Orochimaru, who later brings back the Kage from the dead. Together, they resolve to defeat Madara Uchiha for good and stop the ten-tails before the world is completely destroyed.

Although this fight was mostly just to contain the ten-tails instead of defeating it, it gave us some of the most incredible moments, such as Minato Namikaze entering the Kyubi Chakra Mode. Unfortunately for the Kage, however, Obito soon becomes the Jinchūriki of the beast, giving them no chance in the fight whatsoever.

2 Might Guy Vs. Madara Uchiha

Might Guy Punches Madara

Might Guy took it upon himself to fight Madara Uchiha in order to save the world, especially the budding next generation. To achieve this feat, Guy opened the Eighth Gate of Death and managed to overwhelm Madara in battle, something that no other shinobi at that point could've done.

In doing so, Guy proved himself to be a monstrously powerful character. Unfortunately, Guy's effort proved to be insufficient as Madara Uchiha was able to heal from the life-threatening damage that Guy caused him.

1 Naruto Uzumaki Vs. Sasuke Uchiha

The final fight of the Fourth Great Ninja War was also its grandest one as it saw Naruto Uzumaki stand against his rival and friend, Sasuke. The two were destined to fight each other, and although both were aiming for world peace, their ways of going about it were quite different.

Naruto's fight against Sasuke proved to be an incredible one, possibly the best in the entire series. With great animation and direction, we think this fight was great enough to take the spot of the best one in the Fourth Great Ninja War.
