Naomi's new poster is a slight departure from a previous piece of official key art for the show, which directly homages Jamal Campbell's cover art for the titular character's very first comic book appearance. Written by Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker and illustrated by Campbell, Naomi #1 was first published under DC's Wonder Comics imprint in early 2019.

Named for Milestone Media co-founder Dwayne McDuffie, Naomi McDuffie is a teenage superhero with energy-based powers who hails from alternate Earth. In addition to her solo series, Naomi has been featured within the pages of such high-profile DC titles as Young Justice and Justice League.
