The CW dropped a new promo for Nancy Drew, Season 2, Episode 6, in which the town of Horseshoe Bay will become more dangerous than it was before.
After the events of the previous episode, the Drew Crew finally seemed to be safe now that the Aglaeca was gone. However, in the promo for the upcoming episode, Nancy accidentally lets loose ancient, evil objects that will haunt her and her friends. The sixth episode of Season 2, titled "The Riddle Of The Broken Doll" teases yet another mystery the Drew Crew will have to uncover.
In the promo, Carson tells Nancy that there's no use to trying to stop her from doing what she does because she's great at it. Nancy sneaks into the morgue, as she does. But in a voiceover, George tells Nancy she "exposed the town to unspeakable danger," though that "unspeakable danger" is yet to be known.
In Season 2, Episode 5, "The Drowned Woman," the original Season 1 finale, the Drew Crew nearly accepted their tragic fates at the hands of the Aglaeca. However, due to the power of love and perseverance, the Aglaeca, once known as Odette, was finally defeated, leaving room for the next dangerous mystery to show itself in Horseshoe Bay.
The official synopsis for Season 2, Episode 6 "The Riddle Of The Broken Doll" reads,
HERE WE GO AGAIN – Nancy (Kennedy McMann) and the Drew Crew learn that they have a new battle on their hands. Meanwhile, George’s (Leah Lewis) strange behavior leaves Nick (Tunji Kasim) feeling unsettled. Lastly, Carson (Scott Wolf) makes Nancy an offer she can’t refuse. Alex Saxon, Maddison Jaizani and Riley Smith also star. Larry Teng directed the episode written by Erika Harrison & Andrea Thornton Bolden (#206).
