Namor is the King of Atlantis in Marvel Contest of Champions

Kabam's Marvel Contest of Champions mobile fighting game is adding Namor, the King of Atlantis, as its newest playable character.

The Sub-Mariner has played the role of hero and villain in the Marvel Universe, but no matter what side he chooses, the short-tempered mutant king will do whatever it takes to protect his kingdom and citizens.

Marvel Contest of Champion lists Namor as a highly offensive attacker, as he generates stacks of Outrage over time and when he fails at applying a Debuff to his opponent. Namor has the ability to activate Imperius Rex when his Outrage reaches a specific threshold, allowing him to transition into an instant burst of Power and activate back-to-back special attacks.

The King of Atlantis' falls under the Mutant character class and he is listed with three special abilities: To the Point, Slam Dunk and Might of the Neptune. To the Point allows Namor to propel himself and his trident forward, creating a whirlpool of waves; Slam Dunk sees Namor jump into the air while throwing his trident back towards the Earth, releasing a geyser of water before landing a final blow to his opponent; and Might of the Neptune unleashes Namor's power to summon an ocean using his mighty trident.

Finally, Namor's special ability is Hydrokinetic Armor which protects his strikes from opponents who deal damage when struck by the Sub-Mariner.
