In honor of the Thor movie, I am doing an extremely difficult challenge! This is a test to see if you are "worthy" of knowing your Thor pencilers!

DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS IN THE COMMENTS

In the first volume of Thor (Journey Into Mystery #83 through The Mighty Thor #502) there were thirty-two pencilers that drew at least one full issue of Journey and/or Thor. I will now list thirty-two drawings from those thirty-two different issues by those thirty-two pencilers (I used a randomizer to put them out of chronological order). I have intentionally chosen only issues where the penciler in question did full pencils. This is because layouts and/or breakdowns makes it waaay too tough for you folks to identify the penciler, since the art often looks more like the finisher than the layout artist. Luke Ross, Oclair Albert, Frank Toscano, Dante Bastianoni and Pino Rinaldi all did full pencils for PARTS of Thor #497 and 498. I am not counting them, so do not bother guessing any of them, as they do not appear on the list.

Otherwise, you have a tough challenge ahead of you! Simply E-MAIL ME at bcronin@comicbookresources.com (do not post your answers in the comments section) your answers to who each artist is and I'll announce who got the most correct next week (as well as reveal the answers). Don't worry if you can't get a lot of them - this is a very difficult challenge. A good two or three of the artists on the list are especially not well known. But there are a ton of famous artists, as well, including some all-time greats. So just let your knowledge of art styles guide you to however many you can get. I think anything more than a dozen correct is good, honestly. Also, since you have a week to answer, there's no rush to give your guesses.

Remember, E-MAIL me at bcronin@comicbookresources.com. Do not post your answers in the comments.

Remember, not in the comments. E-mail me your answers at bcronin@comicbookresources.com. That way everyone is on an equal footing.

Really, do not post in the comments. Just e-mail me your answers. For all this overkill, it took just two comments before someone posted their answers in the comments, so that is why I added the big bold bit at the top (and obviously this sentence).

Finally, do not post your answers in the comments.

Here are the artists - have fun naming 'em!
