After coming out the gate swinging with the acclaimed comic book miniseries Plastic in 2017 through Image Comics, the fan-favorite creative team of Doug Wagner and Daniel Hillyard are reuniting for a new chapter in their bloody, shared comic book universe.

Wagner and Hillyard launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowdfund the original graphic novel Narco, set in the same, serial killer-fueled universe as Plastic and Wagner and Hillyard's currently running Image miniseries Vinyl. In addition to the Narco graphic novel, the Kickstarter campaign also crowdfunds a deluxe edition of Plastic, with a new six-page short story included.

An exclusive preview of Narco, written by Wagner, illustrated by Hillyard, colored by Dave Stewart and lettered by Ed Dukeshire, is below. Also included are the hardcover and paperback covers to Narco and the cover to the deluxe hardcover edition of Plastic, with the Plastic hardcover featuring work by the miniseries' colorist Laura Martin.

Narco follows a young man suffering from narcolepsy who witnesses a gruesome murder and decides to pursue the killer, despite his condition being greatly affected by stress and violence. Narco is the follow-up to the six-issue miniseries Vinyl, which follows a serial killer named Walter who sets out to rescue his best friend from a murderous cult. That best friend, however, is the FBI agent tasked to apprehend Walter for his own heinous crimes.

The Kickstarter campaign for Narco and the Plastic deluxe edition is currently live. Written by Wagner and illustrated by Hillyard, Vinyl #6 goes on sale Nov. 16 from Image Comics.
