'My Little Pony: The Movie' Adds Taye Diggs and Liev Schreiber

Taye Diggs and Liev Schreiber have boarded "My Little Pony: The Movie," the upcoming animated adventure from Hasbro and Lionsgate.

They'll voice characters new to the franchise, joining Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Michael Pena, Uzo Aduba and "My Little Pony" veterans Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Ashleigh Ball.

In Hasbro’s first animated feature, a new dark force threatens Ponyville, leading Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity to embark on a journey beyond Equestria to save their home.

Directed by Jayson Theissen from a script by Meghan McCarthy ("My Little Poney: Friendship is Magic") and Rita Hsiao, "My Little Pony: The Movie" opens Nov. 3,  2017.
