My Little Pony Meets Judge Dredd in New IDW Deviations Variant Cover

IDW Publishing will present their take on "What If?" again this coming March, with a second set of "Deviations" one-shots running as a five-week event through five of its licensed properties. This time around, "My Little Pony" will be part of the fun, with a "My Little Pony: Deviations" comic by writer Katie Cook and artist Agnes Garbowska showing "a world where Prince Blueblood becomes Celestia's star pupil, not Twilight Sparkle."

Along with this news comes a variant cover illustrated by Cook for the issue, featuring a mash-up you may have reasonably never expected to see -- "My Little Pony" and brutal future cop Judge Dredd.

This past year's initial round of "Deviations" one-shots, also released in March, depicted alternate histories for "G.I. Joe," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Ghostbusters," "The X-Files" and "Transformers." More details on this year's "Deviations" are slated to be revealed later this week.

Here are both Garbowska's main cover for "My Little Pony: Deviations," and Cook's mash-up variant, plus solicitation text for the issue.
