Shota Aizawa, also known as Eraserhead, is one of the most featured pro Heroes in My Hero Academia. He's the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A, and one of the strongest teachers at U.A High School. Aizawa's Hero name comes directly from his Quirk, known as Erasure, that allows him to erase the Quirk of the person he stares at.

As long as his vision isn't disrupted, the target is unable to use their ability. As such, Aizawa is quite a powerful foe for anyone to topple. Nonetheless, some bright students have, over time, surfaced in the series who certainly possess the potential of defeating Aizawa in a fight, provided he doesn't go all-out on some of them. Here are 10 students who we think can take down Shota Aizawa in a fight.

10 Hitoshi Shinso

Hitoshi Shinso in My Hero Academia

Shinso is the apprentice of Aizawa and he's learned the powers of the cloth-bind technique from him. As his master, Aizawa has passed on everything he knows to Shinso, which the latter uses with great precision.

On top of that, his Quirk lets him brainwash anyone who answers to his questions, meaning even someone like Aizawa can fall into his trap and be made to give up the fight. Although Shinso is certainly not as powerful as Aizawa, he will definitely grow to surpass him in the future.

9 Mirio Togata

Mirio, also known as Lemillion, is a student of Class 3-A, and the man who was once said to be closest to All Might, even among the pro Heroes. Mirio's powers are such that even the most seasoned Heroes can't stand a chance in front of him.

The way he has trained his Permeation Quirk allows him to take down any enemy who dares to stand in his path. Shota Aizawa, while strong, is most likely not as powerful as Mirio Togata. The fact that Mirio defeated Overhaul with ease is proof that he's stronger than almost every Hero out there, including Aizawa as well.

8 Tamaki Amajiki

One of the U.A. Big Three, just like Mirio, Tamaki may not appear to be all that powerful from his appearance and nature, but his abilities state otherwise. He's quite adept when it comes to battle, as he proved during the Shie Hassaikai arc of My Hero Academia.

Tamaki's Quirk lets him transform his limbs into whatever it is that he's eaten prior to that. Although this ability doesn't appear to be lethal at face value, the way Tamaki uses it makes him incredible in every way. Aizawa's fight against Tamaki could go either way, but we're putting our money on Suneater.

7 Nejire Hado

Nejire is the third and the final member of the U.A. Big Three and just like Tamaki and Mirio she's quite powerful. A glimpse of her powers was given to us during the Overhaul arc and she appeared to be quite skilled, akin to a pro Hero.

Nejire's Quirk allows her to create shockwaves from her body which are quite powerful. When pitted against Aizawa, Nejire seems like she can possibly do quite well. However, the fact that we haven't seen her go all out just yet certainly means that she has a fair chance of taking down Aizawa in a fight.

6 Midoriya Izuku

Midoriya is the protagonist of the My Hero Academia series and the current wielder of the One For All Quirk. With the power that All Might once possessed, it isn't too difficult to assume that Midoriya can pull off a victory against Aizawa.

When at 100% few can put up a fight against him and it's hard to believe that Aizawa is one of them. There's no doubt that Aizawa can simply erase his Quirk, however, the blinding speed that One For All offers makes it nearly impossible for Aizawa to concentrate on him, consequently giving Midoriya quite a big chance to take down Eraser Head in a fight.

5 Bakugo Katsuki

Bakugo Katsuki is one of the strongest students at U.A, if not the strongest. Like his friend Midoriya, Bakugo aims to be the Number 1 Hero in the future and take over from where All Might left.

His Quirk does provide him with the power to pull this off, which is why he stands a fair chance of defeating Eraser Head as well. Although Bakugo would certainly be the underdog in a fight against Eraser Head, he can definitely pull it off if he goes berserk.

4 Shoto Todoroki

The son of Endeavor and one of U.A's brightest students, Shoto Todoroki is already on the level of an average pro Hero, which just goes to show how much talent he possesses. With his recent training under Endeavor, Todoroki has managed to learn the Flash Fire Fist to quite a decent degree.

His powers now surpass that of a regular pro Hero, which means that even Eraser Head can't take him lightly. With his Half-Cold Half-Hot Quirk, Shoto stands a fair chance of beating Eraser Head, although he will find it incredibly difficult to pull off a victory.

3 Tokoyami

Fumikage Tokoyami uses Dark Shadow Quirk in battle in My Hero Academia

Tokoyami is Class 1-A's dark horse, no matter which way you look at him. Although he has a reserved personality, Tokoyami is quite impressive when it comes to combat. The fact that the Winged Hero, Hawks, took him in his Hero agency proves that.

Tokoyami's Dark Shadow is incredibly powerful as well, especially during nights. Although he may find it hard to control it when unleashed against Aizawa, there's a decent chance for him to win. Granted, Aizawa might have to go a bit easy on him.

2 Eijiro Kirishima

Also known by the Hero name of Red Riot, Eijiro Kirishima is a bag of surprises. His Quirk isn't a flashy one like Bakugos's or Midoriya's. He simply possesses the ability to Harden his body to extreme degrees.

However, the amount of effort that he's put in has resulted in him getting very powerful, a fact that the pro Hero Fatgum acknowledges. Kirishima may not be able to defeat Aizawa at full power, but he's certainly capable of putting up quite a fight. In fact, his Unbreakable mode might even turn out to be trouble for Eraser Head and give him the victory.

1 Setsuna Tokage

Setsuna Tokage from My Hero Academia

Tokage is Class 1-B's strongest student and someone who entered U.A through recommendation. She was recently pitted against Bakugo Katsuki and interestingly, she believed herself to be powerful enough to take him on.

Although she lost to him bitterly, it was only because of the fact that she didn't expect him to work together with his team. If Setsuna truly does possess the ability that Horikoshi leads us to believe she does, then an Eraser Head who is holding back against the students could well find himself in trouble against her. Only time can tell how powerful she is.
